Regarding your statement about fetish things and all power coming from God, you are making a mistake. Using fetish powers to protect a Bible is different from God protecting a Bible. You may accidentally receive get hit by a bullet and God will save you. But when bullets are fired at you and you are deliberately getting closer to the shooter without the bullet touching you, that one is not God in action. That one is juju. my dear no need for an apology. You said it all I'm a Catholic, while I was in Kano, there was this rev fr Tom Tracy. Once when asked in our weekly bulletin, about what to do with an old Bible that is out of use. He said you can throw it away or burn it. His explanation was that the word of God is not caged inside a single copy of any Bible. That the phisical Bible is just like any other book, it's our faith in them that give power. Except someone deliberately burns it to spite God it becomes a problem. Forever the word of God is settled in heaven. A particular copy may get old torn or burnt. The Bible itself is not God's word. The Bible is just a paper on which God's word is printed. God's word can be written or printed on the walls of a building or on the body of a car.
