A student of the University Of Ibadan, Cynthia Okafor, has emerged as the best graduating student of the school's Faculty of Pharmacy. Cynthia tweeted pictures of herself in her convocation gown and also the awards she received from the school after graduating with a CGPA of 6.9 out of 7.0 from her faculty.

She tweeted on Wednesday: "I just emerged as the Best Graduating Student of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ibadan with a CGPA of 6.9 out of 7.0 & distinctions in 5 out of the 6 departments in the Faculty. Indeed I have seen God's power yield much more for me than my human efforts could ever have!"

Why do some of you guys ethnicize every little details and always gather sentiments to feel good? It's actually a sign of complicated inferiority complex. You feel the world sees you as substandard, so every little achievement must be broadcasted to dispute that perceived reputation. There are probably more than fifteen faculties in UI with students graduating year in, year out. Why does the result of a hardworking lady in one of those faculties and one if the donkey years be streamlined to boost the ego of a whole 40+ million people tribe?

Stop this self embarrassment. Believe me, if westerners consider schooling in the East, you yourself know the imminent implications. Lol.

You know i find it hilarious that most Yorubas in this forum take offence when the ibos are celebrating this girl and the ibo race in general because of her achievement. They seem to have selective amnesia now forgetting that they are the ones that started the trend. statements like "Omoluabi is great we lead others follow" calling ibos Osu, meth,drug barons and a tribe filled with hate.
Now they are crticising ibos for playing the same tune they are playing.
