This gruesome terrorist attack was able to take place because the police officers let down their guard as a result of the recent calm in IPOB/ESN terror activity. This should serve as a lesson to all security agents serving in the south east that those cannibals are still lurking in the shadows Eveready to pounce whenever their supply of human flesh runs out

I watched the news today where Governor Zulum after visiting President Buhari at the Vila inform press men that over 30,000 insurgents including Boko Haram and ISWAP members have taken the peace move of the Federal Government and surrendered and are to be rehabilitated, i mean as much as 30,000 criminals are to be pardoned and perhaps given some funds to start life again.
Why can't Federal Government try this same peace approach with regard to the criminals in the East called IPOB/ESN. If FG can forgive the criminals in Borno who have engaged the Federal government in an 11 year war costing Nigerian government trillions of naira in procurement of arms and ammunition and countless deaths in their tens of thousands, certainly solving IPOB/ESN insurgency in the East through similar carrot and stick approach is a walk over for FG. Currently, on almost daily basis in the East, Federal government security agents are murdered by insurgents and the FG pretends all is well.

I remember that you and so some few hateful individuals said this toward Christmas celebration but ppl traveled enmass and nothing happened. You have started again and no one will listen to you because you don't mean well for Nigeria though you carry the tag of "patriotism?"

This country will be great again and evil and wickedness will cease in our land. All genuine Nigerians should say no to killings, terrorism, kidnapping, Banditry, ritual killings etc.

The gunmen opened fire at a customs checkpoint within Ozalla community, close to the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku-Ozalla, at about 1:30p.m. A customs officer was said to have died instantly, while three other officers sustained serious bullet wounds. “I saw one of the customs officers motionless and three others in serious pain as they were helped by some Good Samaritan down to the UNTH hospital close-by,” an eyewitness said. The gunmen also opened fire at a police checkpoint at Lomalida axis of Ugwuaji Road where some officers were said to be on a stop-and-search duty.

What the 4uck is a Customs' check point doing in a community so far removed from the country's border if NOT to extort and make life a living HELL for citizens of BIAFRALAND? The sad part about it is that these bastards leave the border towns in the north unmanned and very porous but would be in the EAST tormenting citizens. I am glad that they got what they deserved. Like Bob Marley said, "Everyday the bucket goes to the well and one day the bottom would drop out." I hope they would learn a lesson from this and stay away from the roads in the EAST!

Yes good point but you see the problem here is that the IPOB terrorists are not repentant and still believe they can win this thing. And by the way, Buhari and his military are pursuing a self defeating strategy by granting amnesty to Boko Haram terrorists
