When illiterate interlopers fights frauds this way, they're only helping others to be bold enough to continue their bombing. Very childish! I don't like people stealing from people, you can't reap where you did not sow! But fighting it this way can never solve the issue or stop them. |

Leave the boys alone and go after the politicians first. The boys bring in money into the economy The politicians steal and take away money our of the system When all the politicians are firstly dealt with, you can then come after the boys |

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has ruled that Section 46 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act should be construed within the narrow confines of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, the precursor to the establishment of the EFCC - to prevent illicit financial outflow from Nigeria. EFCC is not supposed to arrest anybody unless the allegation is about "illicit financial outflow from Nigeria". There was a thread (from 29 December 2021) which discussed the Supreme Court ruling, but this has been removed from Nairaland. I wonder why. |

tutudesz:Sorry but it is not the job of the governor. That's the job of the EFCC and the arrests were effected by them. The governor can only talk about it with the EFCC and leave then to do their job. Asaba is not the headquarter of yahoo boys. Where have you kept Lagos? Asaba is a small city and it is very easy for everyone to notice. |

Oceanjagaban:You dont get to dictate to law enforcement who to arrest and when. Let them do their jobs if they open evidence against them you sef go perch go one side. Your average Yahoo boy is loud has zero cred and screems come im arrest im a yahoo boy from their aura. Worst case they even gather theirselves in pack and with their conduct it is easy to pick them up. This is a heavy win for EFCC i would say. |
