The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is set to embark on an indefinite industrial action following the failure of the Federal Government to implement the existing agreements with the body.

The nationwide strike starts from 14th February.

Which kind of problem is this?

Imagine calling off their 7 months old strike by December, 2020 and it is barely one year and they are going for indefinite strike.


That means someone who was in the first year in 2017 may not graduate by 2023, due to the Corona virus lockdown and all these strikes.

Anyway, I already have my Masters degree. Any day they call off their strike, I will continue with my PhD.
