I have seen when a player commits a foul and when the ref blows, he kicks the ball away thereby delaying start of play. Such incidents only attracts a caution. As long as he has not been cautioned before hitting the ball. The ref cannot issue two separate yellow cards against the player.

Lol. You are being smart with us na.

Check again, the ref issued the first caution. Vidal then acted aggressively towards the ref that led to the second caution.

My question to you on this incident is had Vidal walked away after the first caution, would he have been issued the sending off?
Watch from 2:39-3:00 and tell me what you see, pay attention to the referee's hands after issuing both yellow!

On this one, you are absolutely wrong! The section was well segmented. Besides, have you looked at bullet points 1, 4 and 5?

I enjoy debates with you because we push each other respectfully.

You what? let’s die the issue. I personally hope the call is reversed because we are already thin to be now be missing players.

At the end of the day, I am glad the decision did not cost us all 3 points. I gratefully take the W.
Let's die it biko.

My second joy after the W, is that Martinelli will be available against Wolves, this time at home. Are you thinking what I am thinking? grin

Comparing the vidal incident to Martinelli's incident is just comparing apples to oranges.

Vidal fouled a player, was about to be penalised for it and then he nudged the player with his head. Any objective person knows they are two separate incidents. The ref already called a foul, he didn't wave play-on, he called the foul and then vidal still proceeded to go head to head with the player in an aggressive manner which obviously is another foul on its own.

How does that relate with Martinelli's situation?

Even though I hate games in hand, we have 2 of them. I don’t know if we can pull it off (top 4) because that is a tough ask for this team but we definitely need to get back to Europe.

You are the still making the mistake of not differentiating the sequence of play. In all the examples you will give, there will be none where an advantage was given or where a caution was first given before the second foul. None.

Once it's an advantage caused by obstruction, the first foul becomes null and a caution is given for the second foul. If it was a dangerous tackle, no advantage would the given, the ref would stop play and caution the player.

For Jiminez, I have explained it to you before. A caution was first given before the second foul.

Martinelli's red is actually my first time in football (after over 25years) to see a double yellow for whatever reason.

If after watching this clip anybody still thinks Martinelli deserves the red card, then I don't know what to say again.

This is a perfect example of what happened.... Two fouls in the same sequence of play and only a yellow card was issued.

To a man who only has hammer in his possession, every problem he encounters will look like a nail to him. For those who would like to blame Arteta for everything, nothing u will tell them to make them see Michael Oliver nearly used his emotional officiating to ruin our game.
You could tell Oliver allowed his emotions into his decisions. You could see the anger in his face all night. English referees are bums.

Nwanne, to God, listening to him as he slurred through his speech made me mad, especially when I remember what he is doing to Arsenal.

He was just naming the Rams players and coaching staff like nothing, meanwhile Arteta had to travel to the US to beg for striker.

Arteta could not even enjoy the privilege of sitting next to him, na two seats after na him Arteta get. I wonder if he even knows Arteta’s name sef angry

Any where wen I see Korenke for here, I go throw am pure water, run away. angry lipsrsealed

Exactly! His emotions got the better of him. Maybe he was angry at how our players frustrated Wolves who were obviously doing the playing while we were busy repelling their attacks and also wasting time evwrytime the ball goes out of play.

I was actually not happy with how our players wasted time and racked up unnecessary yellow cards, but then a refree is not expected to be happy or sad about things like that. He should strictly officiate based on the sequence of events as they unfold.

Even a retired ref that was asked about what he thinks about Martinelli's red card faulted Oliver's decision. Even Oliver himself only gave yellow card in the past Brighton match he officiated that someone posted the video.

He nearly ruined the game but thank God we won and I love to see the tears of Bruno Liage cheesy. The weyrey coach dey lament say we celebrate like say we win league....like say no be draw barca celebrate yesterday night like champions league final

Arsenals disciplinary record is alarming. Bar any talk of officiating, the performance was simply not up to the standards we expect. If we only have the league to play and this is what we deliver week in week out then it's a shame on the team

Blame the Ref all you like but a team like arsenal wasting time against wolves is disgusting to be honest.

Sadly the most we can do is just support them but not getting any hopes high at all.
Here is my feel, the performance is so below the standard level, watching Real betis and Villareal was a far more joy to watch.
No hope!

Sadly this is where we have been for years now. Back then the only debate we considered was against Manu Liverpool or Chelsea . Every other team, we were expected to win. But now we have debates on our wins against the likes of Norwich , Newcastle, Watford and Co. Light must Sha dey at the end of this tunnel oh

Guen can stay if i were coach. But that word overhaul means even Partey may not be spared if Arteta sees a better option. They should sha qualify for UCL. Its very feasible than ever before now, considering our next 4 fixtures.

This one that GM is on 9 training

I'd love he starts in the lineup as winger, then when Laca gets subbed off,he moves centre and sub does their own mixup.
