As others have said, it's not really that Gal doesn't take different roles. It's that she plays those different roles the same way. Leaning on her exotic sex appeal factor for just about all of her roles.

Nope. Hard disagree with the bolded. Playing different characters differently is what makes good actors. Great actors become whatever role they take on. They immerse you fully in the character's story. You don't see Tom Hanks anymore, you see Forrest Gump and Capt. John Miller. You don't see Meryl Streep, you see Miranda Priestly and Gail Hartman.
Gal's characters may be written differently but she plays them superficially. Never delving deep to bring the characters she plays fully to life.

I think the problem is, you don't get the argument. No one is saying Gadot is an exceptional actress or Oscar worthy, the point is, she has made her characters look different from who she is. But when you see the rock, you see Hobbs every time mostly.

I'm not sure you understand what you're saying. Gal Gadot may be "versatile," but she might just as well be typecast because she consistently plays an action heroine with comedic chop. I'm not saying she's not talented; she is, she can sing pretty well. However, in most of her films, she relies on her sex appeal to sell her character, and it's gotten to the point where one has to wonder what business she has being a marquee star in Hollywood when there are more talented alternatives on the sidelines.

This is Batman we are talking about here folks, it doesn't even need to be good, just by virtue of being Batman, it will do numbers...As bad as BVS was, it did 872m and even though it was disappointing considering they A list heroes featured, those are still solid numbers. I for one think this Batman will be different from others as it seems this one will have a detective vibe, a lot of mystery, gritty violence and actual competent Choreography.
Also, from the novel, this Batman loves Chemistry, takes samples, residue and what have you(In essence, a Batman that is smart)..
They can't fu*k up this movie, WB has given everything and gone gung ho on Marketing...

ppl seem to forget this is a 3hrs movie and we have only seen Abt just 10mins of it from trailers and the likes. From what have seen from trailers no way the movie won't do well. Every movie have seen in the cinema made a billion, my sweet batman won't be different
