Bounceboune7:Igbos are suffering from Group Narcissism. Only narcissists think they are doing you a favor by abusing and denigrating you at every turn, and then expect you to return the 'favour' by voting them in to rule over you. ''Or else''. That is all they know. Force and threats. Even among themselves. See how IPOB operates. Not by dialogue and debate with Igbo dissenters, but by intimidation and threats. It's the only way they know to operate. |

They are always threatening to leave the country as if they have the capacity to. Cowardly chest beaters. If you want to be president, play politics the way it is played. No one is going to give you presidential post on a platter of gold. |

Igbos ought to know that we are in a democracy and u can't force people to vote for u and then the threat issued by the elders is damaging the chance of ibo presidency and it is a treason |

francis5051:talking about hatred and from d look of things happening here on dis forum we all know those who hate d other so much...I can bet d yorubas living in d south east r not up to 5% of igbos living in south west yet u guys insult and call us all sort of names, some of u even said ur parents told u to hate d yorubas and its funny bcoz right here in south west we don't even have time for such, we don't care or remember igbos being a threat or anything close to getting worried about....dis hate campaign was what u guys did in 2011 that made GEJ lose, in south west we see good and bad in everybody and that's why we vote both party despite not having much stake in PDP but in d east its always a 1 way thing coz of d hate and bitterness.....there has never been a time we completely right off any candidate from d east, kalu, okorocha, umahi, pius and ETC has declared and just 1 from d south west u ppl won't campaign for any of ur own but chose to show hatred and bitterness against him not knowing d more u guys from that side insult him d more he gets support here....election is not won on nairaland, and reason we use to say no igbo will ever be president is bcoz no 1 will vote an igbo son as president, hausas don't trust d igbos and yoruba's have been insulted by d igbos who then will vote u guys....wike will not even allow a igbo candidate in pdp U guys r d originator of hate |

I hope people know the Igbos have more than 30 million people in Nigeria. That's the right metric and not some skewed voting population figures. Government should work with this figure when making certain critical decisions. This is the right time to heal the wound and move on, otherwise Nigeria may not survive another power rotation for 16 years without the Igbos. I don't think this is possible. What do you gain by returning power to the South South or the South West? Nothing. Let the inequity be rectified now. It will be dangerous not to. |

Esseite:U igbos r not serious.....ur only problem in d south east is tinubu not becoming d president, u don't care if u get nothing or power remain in d north or even biafra.....we will do u guys d good of fielding another yoruba son as president and I know u guys will be happy so far it's not tinubu, u r not even campaigning for ur own ppl...d energy u guys channel into attacking tinubu would have gone a long way promoting a igbo candidate |

PrinceOfLagos:The Prince of Abakaliki, only you discuss Benue and you still manage to put the nightmare of your fellow Osus, Tinubu, Jagaban Borgu. That is a symptom of "Osulised Canibalisis" a disease common with people living in erosion ravaged enclaves. |

Their position is justified with the happenings in the country. In 1999 the South West had Exclusive Shot at the Presidency, With OBJ emerging as President to placate the region as a result of June 12 and it's Aftermath. When GEJ was President a Certain Traditional Ruler from the North East told the President that they(his people) were ready to be part of Neighbouring Cameron where their Kith and Kins are. My region(The North) kept shouting power should return to the North and it has been for close to 7 years now, so what's wrong if the South East too want The Presidency or Biafra? As a Popular Hausa saying goes 'Wani Ma Ya Takarawa bale Dan Makadi' (If others had their turn on the dance floor why not the son of the drummer)? |

Benjax4all:Your problem is that you don't know how to choose your words correctly, you will leave Ojukwu and call other people cowards then what is the definition of cowardice? You describe other people as betrayals when they don't align with your thought line and worst of it all, you lie to yourselves and still believe it "Jibril of Sudan" NDLEA should please crackdown on Mpurumiri suppliers, that substance is causing issue in the thinking of the Osus |
