I knew this will happen. The lower court had no business delivering the judgement they did. I was so certain the higher court will upturn that decision. Shekarau will calm down now. The only thing he was holding on to was the judgement of the high court.

Ganduje defeats Shekarau at Court of Appeal, takes back control of Kano APC

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has set aside the judgment of an FCT High Court which validated the ward and local government congresses conducted by an APC faction led by Senator Ibrahim Shekarau in Kano.

While upholding all the three appeals filed by the faction of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, the appellate court held that the lower court lacked jurisdiction to try the case.

The court also said the case was not a pre-election matter but an internal party matter.
