I am not sure how that is relevant to anything on this thread but I will indulge you BRIEFLY as long as it does not derail

Different things drive population growth in different places
The main things are
1. Immigration
2. Birth rate exceeding death rate


In Africa we have had always very high infant mortality and low life expectancy . So anything e.g immunisation that reduces infant mortality will boost population. Nigeria population was reported as 80 million in 1991 and some sources have Nigeria or Niger as having the highest fertility in the world

If you look at the data it says Zinder in Niger is the fastest growing ( this was 2014 let us remember) I imagine what drives population in Zinder might be different from Nnewi. In Niger women on average have 7 babies but I do not think Eboes are that fertile

So we need data before jumping to conclusions. Anyhow from a statistical perspective a percentage is not always the best measure

for comparing cities with a 500000 population to one of 5 million . A logarithmic function might be better
