It does o

Are you sure, or is it only when rider chooses the option of “driver requested a cancel”?

My driver score yesterday didn’t dip after some riders cancelled, I thought maybe bolt had already listened as per the email they sent out.

I am gonna experiment with my confirmation rate and only accept trips I want to do which shouldn’t affect driver score unless bolt hasn’t resolved the rider cancel issue.

Even if anybody answers I doubt it will be taken seriously.
We lack leadership with integrity and internal organization.
Those are issues that need to be addressed first.
By nature we really don't know ourselves or how many we are.
I am sure a large number of us don't visit nairaland.
So it will be difficult to actually disseminate information.
Some have already taken to the roads before 5am this morning not knowing anything about a planned strike.
We first of all need to find a way to know ourselves our numbers and a means for identifying genuine bolt drivers, after which we can organise ourselves into groups by zones, lga, states, etc.
Then we get leadership in each of these units and find a way to disseminate information securely for purposes like this.

We don beg tire for a get together.... Men no gree. It would have been a good opportunity to start after wine and dine.

according to the message (only accept trips u are willing to complete)
What is "Acceptance rate" still doing on the app then. I'm sure they will set a limit to how many trips you're allowed to ignore

Down payment is about #1.9 million.about #9000 daily deductions. #17,000 for registration. Service and insurance to be undertaken by them
northbird:

Opay n gokada were different, they didn't want bikes, moreover, that stunt had political undertones, if you know the backers of opay in Lag, you will understand.

The question is how much is that car? My guess, 5-7million. For a taxi? It's a wrong spec.

What fares do you think will be able to maintain this GAC cars? Definitely not Bolt or Uber fares.? So which of the Lagosians will pay more than what Uber or Bolt is charging, is it the politicians who already have fleets of cars.

These are brand new vehicles for crying out loud. Lagos has poor roads, and bad roads is a major factor in vehicles breaking down.

How many Lagosians can afford this kind of rides? You mean these ones too will take ₦600 trips. and ply alagbole, Oke odo, baruwa inside inside, Akute, igbo efon, Sango Ota..
. All the display on TMB is politics, nothing more.

They stand no competition, ehailing is a long haul. It's not by gra gra..... Will this cab take ₦600 from olaribiro street, Allen Avenue to ICM.

Do you know what it takes to maintain these cars Trust me, they don't stand a chance, policy or not. Brand new cars for taxi in a city like Lagos,..

D ehailing companies benefit from the disunity amongst drivers. They know there won't be a quorum.

Imagine 75% compliance on today's strike . Bolt will make a drastic you turn.

@alms of gold
Which young man will have ₦1.9 million in today's Lagos and will rather become a slave.

.₦9,000 daily for how many days? 250 days, 350 days, 700 days.......

and if I may ask, which special Lagos riders will they be carrying to remit 54k weekly or is it not the same riders we encounter in Lagos on a daily basis.

LASG overestimates the purchasing power of its residents, a large fraction of residents in Lagos are just getting by.

Thats because there is hunger in the land.
Some drivers are owing mechanics, house rent, school fees etc.
News of strike no settle with them at all.
This is what companies like bolt capitalize on.
They need you poor to control, take advantage and worsen your situation.

If you want to know how evil and wicked people can be then put them in an environment where they won't be held accountable for their actions,
That is the entitlement bolt gives it's riders on every trip they force us to accept.

I still think the best we can do as a group is pay developers to create our own app, which will be the default app for drivers in this business nationwide.

That way a strike against any of the other companies will be more effective as it doesn't cut into our income.

If every driver moves to the app riders will have to do so because the demand for the service will still be there.

We will need to have some good management and quality control also to balance drivers welfare with passengers needs.

With an ehailing drivers population of more than 10000 drivers. I think this will be easily achievable in a short time with good leadership.

As seen on Twitter;

1st Pic: About protest in Benin
2nd, 3rd & 4th Pic: Protest in Abj

But some Olori-buruku think they are cashing out in Lagos not knowing there are mortgaging their future to Bolt because come to think of it, if you’ve been working every other day of the week and you can’t sacrifice just two days to make your voice heard then you’re in for a long ride. Such drivers will continue to live from daily earnings to daily earnings.

Shoutout to all the legit bosses that complied and frown at this modern day slavery and on the long run the uncooperative drivers woe will continue because las las posterity will judge everyone.

Peace!

all that's needed is a new operator that will come in and disrupt the status quo. The market is too large for Bolt and Uber. It's like a buffet of riders. Too much to handle
When Opay came on board, and they displayed destination, with bonus here and there. Bolt sat up fast.
