Trying to get a decent mid-range phone for my wife. I am not particularly tech-savvy. Would appreciate some very good suggestions.

Samsung A52s 5G is your best deal, it is under 250k. I would have gone for it when I bought my phone less than a week ago but my budget was 150k max. So I went for Tecno Pova 5G instead.
Trust me, I researched these phones (A52s 5G, Pova 5G and Poco f3) for about a month before finally choosing one

yeah, devices like the camon 18 and phantom x are superb phones.

You can get the camon 18 premier for about 182k

There is no device at this price point better than the Samsung A52s 5g, that is the best phone you can buy brand new with 250k
