Can Firstbank Be This Mean? by hopebacy(op): 4:26pm On Feb 22, 2022
Please how can I resolve these, i am a POS agent, using palmpay POS, i made a transfer to firstbank customer on 22nd December 2021, the transaction was successful but the customer wasn't credited, i contacted palmpay and they gave me session ID to give the customer to go to his bank. We went to the bank the first day to get bank statement and also report but was told the money is hanging somewhere that it will take 24hrs for the transaction to be approved. After like 3days nothing, one week later i went back and they ask me to write a letter for the money to be track with the session ID, i did all that was required but till today the customer never see the money, and no reversal either.
I have used all the available means to engage them even going to different branches of firstbank in my city yet same story, so I had to refund the customer. Abeg how can i sort this out with the bank.

Put everything in writing, with any necessary evidence you can get and send mail to cbn. Come back and tell us how it went, we will all learn from you.

Go to their website, you will see something like complaints@cbn.com.ng or something similar, any department you write to will forward it to the right department.

You have a point.
But digital banks have a smaller customer base they resolve issues faster than physical banks.
That the reason why i use digital banks

Lala this issue hasn't been resolved, i even went as far as reporting to CBN. But still nothing has been done. It's not all about the money, but am bent on knowing what really happened to the transfer. And who is to be held responsible.
