Eedris Abdulkareem To Youths: Avoid APC, Declare For Presidency by Kingosytex(m): 11:33pm On Feb 22, 2022
Ahead of 2023 election, veteran musician, Eedris Abdulkareem, has warned Nigerian youths to avoid joining the All Progressives Congress, APC.

He advised young Nigerians to come out and declare their intention to run for presidency and other political positions in the House of Representatives.

Abdulkareem said although Obasanjo is part of Nigeria’s problems , he supports his statement asking older generation to step down in 2023.

In a video posted on his Instagram, he pledged to support any youth under any party except the APC in 2023.

Abdulkareem said: “If you’re a youth and ready to contest for any position in 2023 please come out.

The most important thing is avoid All Progressives Party, APC. Come out whether for presidency , House of Representatives just like Sowore, Yul Edochie.

“I’m going to support you all, it’s time for the youth to take over just like Obasanjo said it’s time for the youth.

Although we know Obasanjo is part of our problems but he has said the truth. Come out everybody let’s support anybody that’s a youth, strictly for the youth in 2023.”

Recall that former President, Olusegun Obasanjo asked older generation to step down for younger ones in 2023.

I share Eedris's point of view, how on earth can crooks like Atiku, Tinubu, Kwankwaso, Okorocha, Orji et al be gunning for the presidential seat?
These crooks have been in power for so long and ought to make way.

Funding an election is a capital intensive venture, the youths don't have the deep pockets to challenge these old crooks that have held power for so long. They can buy all that needs to be bought including the youths who are ready to insult and kill themselves. For example, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has a stipulated stipend running into billions that he has been collecting from Lagos State for over twenty years and as such has a lot of money to throw around. I doubt if any youth can match him. Same goes for Atiku and the other crooks.

Yahaya Bello na youth na. He's not getting the right amount of support needed. Maybe because he has lost his credibility. I think he has though.

They need money bro. A lot of it. If you create a party filled with youth, they'll mess it up. Nigeria youths are even more corrupt than their seniors.
Extremely corrupt. Nigeria's future is uncertain.

Which youth is he referring to?

An average Nigerian youth that's struggling to make ends meet? An average youth that doesn't have the connect or popularity or platform to contest for election? Or a fairly wealthy youth that cannot afford the money to contest reasonably for election in Nigeria?

Or he's referring to an elite highly connected youth that's got a typical Nigerian politician DNA?

Please let's be practical no normal youth can afford to contest election in Nigeria on a neutral platform and win for now

LMAO.

If youths curse/abuse an elderly person they call it TABOO.

If elderly person curse/abuse youth they call it disrespect.

Mr eedris when you sang Jagajaga they chase you out of Nigeria to Ghana how many youths supported you so, leave Nigeria matter for Mathias.

grin

He himself should declare first.

How many youths can afford the cost implications of running for president?. Last, last where would he get the necessary support for running a campaign throughout this vast country?
Re: Eedris Abdulkareem To Youths: Avoid APC, Declare For Presidency by Cantonese: 6:19am On Feb 23, 2022
Na so.

Say NO to APC.

Enough of their lies and failed promises. They promised that petrol would flow, yet nothing. They promised refineries, but failed. They said subsidy was scam, yet they pay more for subsidies and defend it. They said light was not rocket science, yet it has become space science. Even the baba is desperately expecting the end of his tenure so that he can go back to his farm.

Politics makes it hard for youths to get positions because Nigerians politicians loot and use the same money to make our youths appear as beggars. Unfortunately too some youths have mastered the art of hailing these old men. Our youths truly have to wake up, believe in themselves and strive to secure political power.

When we talk about youths too, we must look out for those decent ones with plenty of integrity.

Is youth being the president that will solve the problem? The truth is no! What we need as a country is doing the right thing. Let there be rule of law, say no religion and tribal sentiments. Let's take a look at how developed countries run their affairs.
