I think it is the defending style, stadium big for England too na.
He was allowed too much time
True, it was much!
I remember him scoring exact same goal against same opponent at their stadium in Europa league semi final match.
But at least, that one was even more harder than this gift

Ódegaard and lacazette were disappointing
I'll give Odegaard some slack for now but lacazette eh,..
He helps in midfield domination, but we also need a presence upfront. Smith Rowe/Martinelli and Saka no be mane and salah na grin

Over time I've come to realise that Arteta only buys players he fancies and not concerned with whatever player every other person feels fits into our system.
.
I learnt Maurio Iacrdi was offered to us in January but Arteta just looked away without considering him or an alternative sef.

At this point Arteta tenure Don turn to Buhari regime, u just have to things the way u see them, no go kill urself put; celebrate the little wins and look away when the rough patches show face

I saw that thing somewhere n was like. Icardi ohhh cos no matter how bad he is , he is better than Laca. I wouldn't necessarily fault him regarding not making a move for Renato, we need to clear up Lokonga,Eleney and Xhaka are almost similar to renato style of play and this people are still here.

For kulu, he is good but biko who en wan bench.

But that Icardi own, he can never be that bad and I am 100% sure he will be better than Isak (I just don't like the idea of this guy as a striker)

arsenal going for joao felix, if only we can get him. i started trusting arteta and edu recruitment system after the signing of tomiyasu. they know who they want, who they think fits into their plan and system and wouldnt settle for anyone else. i dont know and cant speak for others but i'm 100% behind and trusting this process(progress). it's better to see arteta and his young squid fail, learn and grow together than seeing someone else kill off the remaining energy in us.
PS:we're qualifying for ucl at the end of the season, this i am sure of

What's Icardi doing in PSG? He's another problem player. Worse than Aubameyang. I was not surprised when Arteta didn't even send him.

Neither Arteta nor anyone in Arsenal would want a wife snatcher near them.

It will take CL qualifications to pull J. Felix, however the question is where will he fit in?

I am happy you are optimistic about the success of this group. At the start of the season, we felt we would be happy to finish 6th. The fact now that we are aiming for 4th shows there's been a lot of progress. This was part of why I didn't mind us getting out of all other competitions and facing the league squarely.

Seeing how Vlahovic plays at Juve made me trust the reason why we were all in for him. The few matches I've watched from him juve shirt made me knew we really missed an upgrade on our Cf position (tho no fault of ours). It's unfortunate he doesn't fancy us

I just hope the club have someone in mind that fits our bill. As Someone said(I think germa.phobe), with their recent acquisition, I think they've earned the right for us to trust them at least for getting the team the right players. It's better to get one good player than get dross players that we'll all regret (spy, 2022 grin)

Anyway sha, I just hope the guys get the much needed 3 points. I believe now they know they need to fight for themselves and get the points instead of relying on referees to be fair.

What I'm even afraid of is that we shouldn't suffer any injury(ies) to any of our key player(s)

Wolves are not rough like that, their manager is more like a perfectionist like Wenger. If they were really aggressive like them Blackburn, Stoke etc. of yester years, they would've beaten that first leg as per our red card issue.

I doubt injury will be our undoing, na make we just calm down use sense follow them drag am.

Me too don't fancy him cos of his many attendant problems. I'm just interested in seeing us sign a striker that can actually score and not some Lacazette in disguise that is more concerned about committing opposition players to a foul than actually taking a shot at goal.

icardi kwa?
Too much negative energy. He will be a bad influence on the young squad. He comes with too much baggages. Arteta did well to avoid that , it certainly means he is building a squad for the long run. I wish him well

I said it that Vlahovic is as good Haaland but cheaper. I really wanted us to get him this January to have a real push for top 4.

His choice of Juventus made them to quickly snatch the opportunity

I knew that Lacazette was not it in terms of goal scoring that was why I insisted that Aubameyang was out best chance for goals despite his lack of form.

I am happy though that ESR is taking up the challenge to always get on the score sheet.

I have also noticed that Saka tends to get motivated to score whenever ESR does.

lol... As much as I want Top-4, I am not that optimistic jare. I will jeje hope for Top 6. I cannot come and break my heart cos of Arteta.

If we finish Top 6, I will be indifferent about Arteta's position whether he stays or leave, if he does well, he will get my praise, if not I will join the Arteta-Out chorus...But if, I mean IF Arteta manage to get us to Top-4 this season, then I will fully accept him as our coach and ready to rise and fall with him.

The bolded is really necessary. I just wish we don't drop any unnecessary points now esp at this stage of the season. We really need to go all in for that top 4 oo

The thing is that laca not been a top striker is better than Nketiah and balogun (for now). If Auba is out of form, Laca is an able deputy to step in. That he's an able deputy doesn't mean that we(or I) would want him as a first choice striker. Nketiah and balogun no reach

I no even understand that Balogun pattern. He's needs some serious developing to do if he wants to play for arsenal and wants to be scoring against defenders like Mings, Van Djik, Ruben Dias etc....

I watched one Middlesborough match recently and wasn't really impressed with his input. Even Nketiah get Ginger pass am, at least that one can still hold ball and draw defenders out of position. I hope that Balogun does enough learning on loan o

I have come across any of his Middlesbrough's match but the few match of him I watched in arsenal didn't impress me much. It's even surprising considering the kind of hype he had coming in from the academy. Not that I was expecting some henry-wannabe but mehn his performances no just reach person wey fit ready in next 2 years. Seems he's someone who's too big for the youth team but still too small for the main team.

I just hope he improves DRASTICALLY during this his loan sha

With his skill set, trust me brother he will be better than all the strikers we have currently. He can play a cross the front 4, us he has the presence and trickery in the box and outside, then add his finishing. I give him six months to join Saka in our first team. Watch this space.

Notes: by now I believe you guys should start respecting my football age and sense. All my predictions come true.

I don bookmark this post. That Balogun I dey see need more than 1 year sef to be a goal threat to decent EPL defenders(Not dem Maguire kinda CB o)
