Let us do a stock take of the tribes in SW that make up the IGR the SE is the most. Again note this is fast changing. Anambra has been making more IGR than Oyo and Osun after Lagos, Kaduna and Kano and Ogun, Delta, Rivers and Akwa Ibom you have Anambra in the mix. Already people are moving their key components of the business back to the east. The Onitsha river port once it becomes function we shall see how SE IGR will blossom.

I think you need to calibrate your brain. Who are the major wealth creating people in Lagos? Majority of containers cleared at the Ports in Lagis belong to SE people. Let's have a vibrant port at Onitsha and let's see if Lagos will.still remain Lagos. Do you know how many container of goods that are offloaded and sold every single day at Onitsha main market? Nigeria is a terrible country. Onitsha main market traders clear their containers in Lagos and use trailer to move it to Onitsha because there's no port in Onitsha. Is Nigeria not so callous to SE people? Pls get some sense.

Geographical advantage is not man made, political advantage is also collective effort. If everybody leaves the South you can't generate 1/10 of that revenue in South west as a whole.
