Social media commentator and media personality, Daddy Freeze, has tackled a follower who slid into his DM on Instagram to ask for financial assistance.

Freeze shared a screenshot of their conversation on his Instagram and asked for people’s opinion on his response. In the chat, the follower had requested for money to buy a flight ticket because his visa had almost expired.

“Good evening sir, please sir I need your financial assistance to get a flight ticket before my visa expires. God bless you sir,” he wrote.

Responding, the controversial media personality pointed out that the follower has been sending him posters about a dry fast, and told him to ask the people he is on the fast with to help him instead.

“You are sending me advert for dry fast. Those people drying the fast with you should render financial assistance. Stay blessed,” he wrote.

For Freeze not to have called out the pastor of the church or at least attached the advert of the dry fast to validate his post and ridicule the Church may be that nothing of such happened.
Churches doesn't advertise fasting and prayer

You only hear it when members are informed during service.
Freeze needed to attach Church to it so that people will leave the subject and insult the church and pastors.

On Instagram, they call it "give away". They even beg foreign artists and celebrities. Politicians beg other countries for almost everything from loans to ammunition to defend themselves from a ragtag Boko Haram.
President begs other presidents, governor begs Abuja, minister begs from donors and international organizations and the man on the street begs for a living too..
Begging is not something to be proud of. I think the almajiri culture helped to solidify begging as a way of life here..
