The same way you're looking for a driver to drive your vehicle, the same way you'll look for someone to do all that hassle for you. You don't need to lift a finger..

If i want to invest in car selling, i will have to build a nice car dealership stand in Lagos or Abuja, but that is not what i want.

So Uber has come to terms with reality?

But come o. How will a rider cancel and Bolt deduct my score? I did not ask them to cancel yet bolt keep reducing the score. Must I force riders to ride with me?

How do you handle this or is it complete porting?

Make dem do as dem like...anytime they block u, u dump d App and find alternative

All i want is 50percent profits after vehicle and shipping cost cleared

Okay so if I get u right, a driver will drop half the price of the car.
Then u want 50% profit...meaning driver will pay balance 100% in monthly installments?
For how long will u like this balance to be paid??

Haha, N400! Better find change bros!

I get those N400 trips steady, and it always hits me like a hammer when I end the trip, and I see N400. I’m still smiling to the rider, but inside I’m like no way, no way, after all this? God whhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

Anyways, they do compensate you on your balance sha, so it’s still your money.

The riders are really enjoying sha, so you enter car that I have washed and sprayed with the finest Arabian perfumes, AC chilling and you are all alone in the ride, no other passengers but you, controlling me like remote, “on your ac, maximum”, “turn your radio off”, “turn here instead”... then you drop and pay N400, N400, chai!

Chai! Chai! Chai!

Lolz...if u guys keep describing this work like this it makes it kinda pathetic actually. Me sef dey pity u even when I am in the same boat with u. So who go pity me now. I carried 4 people from film house cinema, Lekki to one street close to gbangbala with those big bumps scrapping d bottom of the car plus the bad street for N600.
Say no to short trips!...I still maintain, minimum trip should be 1k. If rider can't afford it they should go n enter Keke or bike.

Take this as my window's mite, this path you want to tow won't end well.

Like you said that your family members are not trustworthy, how else do you want to trust total strangers.
Vehicle owners that are physically available find it hard with some drivers now how hard do you think it would be for someone far away.
The drivers knowing you are far away gives them more leverage to do more harm before you get to know.

And like I said, all trackers can be disabled.

You also check the screenshot attached and I pray this won't be your situation.

How can this lady demand that the driver should take just 10% of the profit. She got what she deserves.

Sometimes, people don't consider when dealing with others in business. A profit of 300k, the driver will take 30k for doing all the work of getting the items sold while she collects 270k for sourcing, buying and shipping the goods.

That's not a good bargain.

Avoid short trips at all costs. Leave it, let the newbies use it as a learning curve.

I can't remember the last time I did a trip less than 1500 on Bolt and 1000 on indriver.

I already grossed 13k this morning and back home, I'll hit the road again by evening.

Make we they try maximize our time on the road, it's not easy running round Lagos for peanut.

Nice idea but let me counter.

If we adapt this home zone idea who then will do trips within and to places luke satalight town, ojo, ikorodu, sango ota and other places... Mind you the app is not meant for Lagos alone so take for instance states like Edo State. Who will work in places like Epkoma, Ekhenwhan, and other inner places?

Though the home zone idea is great but should be limited to maybe once weekly or 2hrs in every 24hrs.

You may have a client that wants you to be within their drop off zone so you can easily go back to pickup after a particular time. because if you allow every driver to set a zone to work who do you think would want to work in ikorodu? Mower, Ojo LGA??

To me night trips should be more expensive, say all trips should c9me with 1.5xsurge to encourage and also to discourage night work and movement respectively.

Thanks for your comment.
If you go through the write up you will realize that every concern you just listed was addressed.
1 the home zone is based on a drivers home address.
It's not very likely that there isn't at least one driver living in an area covered by a circle of 15 km

diameter in fact there will surely be overlaps.
But in the rare case of there being no drivers within the homezone in which a request originates,
the nearest drivers from other homezones will be sent the request with a surge factor added to it to encourage them to take it.
Infact the size of the home zone can be made larger or smaller based on the state of operation.

Reason for homezone is some drivers are not used to some areas.
Like I am not very used to ikorodu and alimosho areas.
I don't even live near.
Cos of that I will be very unwilling to accept requests to those areas at night.
In such cases knowledge of routes and terrain is very essential, i most likely will be stranded if one has car trouble, medical or other emergencies.

But within Sangotedo, Ogidan, Awoyaya and Abijo and environs where I live i know how to move in most emergencies, I even know certain places to park my car if I have to come back next day with a mechanic.

Your Oil Rig scam format was busted last year,
this year you want to use car shipping format.

E be like say u want to attract EFCC waterloo.
We dont want to see your format here any further.

Any body in doubt should read page 1 2 3 of this thread he created last year.

I got many advises and i can see attacks too, but i have narrowed my choice of persons to work with and are verifiable, i stated clearly why i wanted to start this business from the embarrament i got before seeking help for my mum.
One thing to know, its my money and i'm the one taking the risk and i'm not forcing anyone, the cars i can decide to sell off, but decided to give a try about uber.

I invest what i can afford to lose and thesame time do put strict restrictions to protect my interests, its either you take it or leave it.

I will not allow anyone make mockery of my capabilities anymore.

Don't do business with anyone you dont know. Don't send your bank account number to strangers.

The average yahoo boy in Lagos has scammed to an extent that his/her conscience is seared. They feel nothing anymore.
I'm talking of people with wives and children, people with family, not some young dude just out of secondary school or college

Good advice, i have thought about that too, but also want to narrow and complicating things, i actually wanted to start with large numbers of vehicles, but decided to just start with 5 only and lets see how it goes.
