How effective is the s300 if Russia destroyed them while they were on duty? Or did the Russians leave a backdoor to the radars and exploited it to be ineffective?

The S300 is an old tech compared to today's advancement in technology and its application to the Military spheres.
It's like comparing the 1980s Volks with 2020 Volks. Improvement and Advancement.

I think Ukraine launched surprised attack on a unit, and Russia have not even did what they did in Georgia and Syria.
I think Russia just want to do regime change because how can they deployed VDV to capture an airport 15KM from Kyiv.
They don't even give Georgia any chance

The days ahead will be interesting. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian president is a cunny fox. The same person saying this, is the same person calling NATO leaders and asking if they are going to be allowed to join.

Chei!!! Kiev is receiving serious fire right now. I doubt there'd be anything left of the city by the time we wake up in the morning. With what is happening now, I don't think NATO and it's allied forces would be ready to get into a confrontation with Putin. Dude is showing so much force that is enough to make any one think twice before engaging him. Maybe if the Ukrainian president had seen this side of Putin initially, he would have avoided the conflict.

Really? I hope so though. I really wish they could just call a truce and put an end to it all. As much as I understand how Putin is trying to defend Russia, I also feel for the Ukrainians. The videos I'm seeing of current destruction is scary. A very large barrage of explosion and fire burning. No building or structure in sight. Just explosion covering the whole place.
