Please,i want house to advise me on this case, i rented a house in 2018, by 2019 ending our landlady brought letter stating that she has increased the house with sum of #25000 .my husband called her to give us sometimes that we just packed in, that some old tenants have stayed like three - four yrs. Note that we tiled the house n did some changes bc the last tenant that left damaged things in the house. According to them the had issue with the man and he left within 3 months he paid for the house . Fast forward to 2020/ 2021 my husband paid the normal rent without paying the additional #25000.they gave my husband receipt stating that we are owning them 2months arrears of #50000 and our rent is supposed to expire July this year.yesterday we came back and saw quit notice pasted on our house, with lawyer stamp and signature . Moreover we did not see lawyer when we pack into the house, upon we paid lawyer fees ,no agreement form from lawyer . My husband want to go and see the lawyer with the address he saw from the notice, because is like the a trying to humiliate us with this notice.
