So, what should the soldier have done? Soldiers are human beings, trained to fight. When we say fight, we don't mean street fighting, but tactical fighting. Controlled fighting. OK, I spot a rifle. Still, you can't expect one soldier to go and confront many armed robbers? That would be suicidal. Perhaps, you watch too many American action films.
