This is a clear indication that international laws, alliance: NATO, EU, UN and the US are totally less concerned! Sanctions ain't enough!! How can they all standby watching Putin taking over Ukraine .... Does their silence signifies weakness as against Russia? Nigeria or some other sovereign country can actually be hijacked ! |

Faithful007:I don't believe Russia has intention of occupying. I suspect the two main agenda is to annex lands that have large ethnic Russians and to change the government in Kyiv |

Please enough of all this misinformation. The US aided Afghanistan in the war that's why USSR lost. They should not make it look like the Afghan won it on their on. Is it also a coincidence that Osama Bin Laden who help won the Afghan war became one of the US number one enemy? That's how the US treat their supposed alley. |

This war would have been avoided if Ukraine and the West both decided to swallow their pride. It's not easy but it would be better than the mess now Look at the issue about the Bakassi peninsular that was handed over to Cameroon during OBJ's tenure? Just imagine if Nigeria preferred a war than handling the place over? Nigeria would spend a 100 times more than it had ever spent on the people of Bakassi ever since it was part of Nigeria waging in retrospect, an unnecessary war. Swallowing nationalistic pride isn't easy for nations but in many cases, would prevent extremely ruinous wars like what we see today. 1 Like |

Faithful007: Terrorists & insurgency only thrive on Democratic territories or puppet dictators. Because the countries are afraid of human rights groups in the west & getting cut off from dollars.... Russian Afghanistan ish failed I think not only due to Americans sponsoring terrorists as usual but also differences, language & cultural barriers. Same reasons d Afghans defeated their sponsors Americans decades later. |
