Roland17:Facts!!! Our midfield is getting complete. We just need a very big upgrade on Xhaka and we'll have one of the Best midfield trio in England. I'm so glad we got Partey mehn |

Our turn around time from today is Sunday (Watford) which is quite short and makes me worry about fatigue, especially when you consider how thin our rotation is. I love the mentality the guys played with today! They easily could have caved in after we conceded but they played with a strong belief, even deep into the 2nd half. #COYG! |

Roland17:not this sunday oh! Our next game which is against Watford is on Sunday 6th of march.the players and even saka have enough time to rest and recharge their batteries. The top 4 is looking very very doable! |

Spy360:How some of una dey watch football? An out of form Auba dey useless, short one useless. Lacazette plays the Firmino for Arsenal. Like Firmino, he is hardly in the box and gets less chances. |

Yesterday game was everything Mehn... The never say never attitude. Laca maybe goal shy but dude know how to push the young lads(make en sha go this end of the season) Our three outstanding games eh are crazy; Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool but aside Liverpool me I I not scared of the first two anything can come out of it. Arteta need to be strategic in his first 11. Is time to rotate players and save us from long time injury. Saka should be rested for even two games. If we continue this format of beating every team below the top six, top 4 is sure for us |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Lush100(m): 8:09am On Feb 25, 2022 |
Laca plays to much in midfield trying to hold ball and exerts all his energy doing so and this usually affects his shooting ability. At a point laca was at left back corner flag trying to collect ball which waa supposed to be xhaka duty. Xhaka was a passenger in 1st half and early half of second half. He was probably trying to avoid any card. He came into the game once we started dominating There is no way laca can do both midfield and striker work. Martinelli needs to stop hugging the winger line and should move inwards. Pepe should be a support striker or at least move towards opponents 18 yards box. Cedric was lucky not to get a card for elbow on the wolves goalscorer. Saka wasted more chances today than laca We played well into the second half Partey was playing alone in midfield and was the reason we controlled the game. He was everything today except shooting. Imagine if xhaka was playing on the same wavelength. Gabriel is slow. White awareness was poor but white played better today. They weren't in synch today. They better watch it as wolves would have scored two in the first half had their number 9 being on target |

johnjunior39:dont expect much from the outstanding. Kai and Kane are in top form right now. And Liverpool? Lol We should just go and prepare to snatch a point vs Liverpool. But Chelsea is open to silly mistakes |

Lush100:I’ve always known it’s his style of play, but if we had that key midfielder, I doubt Laca would be coming to collect ball from middle. We still need some technical players. It’s not a good sign most times for Arsenal. Although I see Kane do it well but Kane will lay off KDB pass and stand in middle while his teammates finish it off with a goal. Understanding each other is still WIP sha. Telepathic goal scoring passes will return to Emirates soon! |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 12:01pm On Feb 25, 2022 |
daveP:For all three outstanding, the most I fear is Liverpool and the least I fear is Tottenham. We just need to tactically play our game esp against Chelsea. Moreover I don't know the havertz you say is in top form. He's improved from his lackadaisical game, fine, but to me that's not top form. But for Kane, I agree. I'm just keeping my mind open in all 3 games. It's just a shame we're playing both Tottenham and Chelsea away and then our nemesis (Liverpool) at home. Liverpool wey for dem Emirates=Anfield ![]() |

Lush100:While I appreciate Laca esp as he's giving us cohesion in that attack, I still feel he should try to balance it. Meaning he shouldn't try to put all the responsibility of scoring on our two young wingers or 3 if you add ESR. If we have salah or Sanchez, I wouldn't have mind, but we have very very trio youngsters who, tho talented, but can be prone to inconsistencies due to their young age. Laca should try to at least convert chances and ensure that he scores too. None of our youngsters are prolific yet and he should know by now he's the leader of that attack so he should try to add goals to his game too |

daveP:Lol, laca have been like this right from ozil's time. I just feel it's his style of play. My issue sef is with him converting his chances (the few he gets). He tends to miss much this season compared to previous seasons and that's my worry |

Everyone knows I don't like xhaka but the last 2 games he has impress me I think I have to give kudos to Arteta because I am loving his new position. It's good for us and him,he's not a liability at the back, he's getting confident on the ball, partey have the midfield to himself the kind of ndidi dominance Overall the midfield us looking coordinated because we are closing opponents down on time even neves admitted this. Ódegaard is a motherfvcking baller #nocap The team showed mental strength yesterday I honestly thought the highest we could was a draw COYG |

50d33q:You love xhaka new role? But he was a passenger until we started dominating. Infact he went back to his best performance being his previous role (the midfield base off Tienery .... everything but the cards) but moved in some advanced position atimes. |

Jodera:I tel you. No difference to them. They don replace Man U under sAF. Make we sef find team we go dey do like this, with or without form na. We should fear Conte o. That’s a fact. Cos that City game alone shows he sabi dissect Pep’s tactic. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by daveP(m): 6:47pm On Feb 25, 2022 |
Jodera:While we may not like he does in the box, lets not forget how bad we struggle without him doing that deep play. Our game in the middle is weak in attack until Laca brings that rough energy that makes things easy for the boys that are swift. Remove him and don’t expect any hope of goals at all. I’m not saying he’s indispensable. But its far worse, especially as we signed no one. If we get a midfielder with his style, irrespective of our Striker, e go better. We really are sour to watch recently in attack, with or without him. He don dey old. Make he go Ligue 1 back. |

daveP:Lol, the thing is that conte can choose to park bus against man city as an underdog playing away. In our own, that will be a different ball game cos he'll be forced to attack. While I'm not underestimating conte, I feel we have players that can go toe to toe with Tottenham. The only issue is that we're playing away but then I'm keeping my mind open |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 7:30pm On Feb 25, 2022 |
daveP:Lol, I share your opinion about laca, reason why I said he's one of those helping us to dominate teams. And it's also a big reason why I'm always against spy when he's saying Laca is useless or an out of form auba is better than him. That I'll never accept at all But then, I just wish he should add goals to his game esp his goal to chance ratio needs to be improved. I know his style of play will make him not to get chances as box strikers and running strikers (like auba) should normally have, but the few he comes across let him convert it. I'm not saying he should change his style, just let him improve his goal scoring chance that's all I ask... |
