You don't know the real game here, the ex Soviet Union members joining NATO are not doing so to attack Russia they are doing it to avoid Russia doing what they have just done to Ukraine to them. NATO are not necessarily formed to attacked Russia but a defence mechanism to avoid Russia attacks because history of Russia in Europe is not very good on this area. Ex Soviet Union members want real and genuine freedom from shackles of Russia, only NATO can afforded them that.

Nobody is talking about Russian security concerns here and logical their concerns are, Ukraine joins NATO and the USA and Western allies stations their weapon of mass destruction including nuclear capabilities in Ukraine, right on russian doorstep. What action lead to this?
Most of u are really ignorant. USSR is dead, the Soviet union is no more. This is one reality Putin has refused to accept given that he was a former USSR spy and very patriotic to USSR. Russia is the biggest and most powerful of all USSR nations. These nations have disintegrated and are now sovereign nation one their own but Putin is not having any of that, they know they eventually Putin will want to force all of them back to USSR that is why they are joining NATO.
You are thinking of this from a Russia point of view but look at the from those other smaller USSR countries view.

They believe NATO is the only organization that can protect them from Russia invasion. US has no beef or interest with Russia. Infact ordinarily the two last country that will fight is Russia and US because they have no business with each other.

In this case NATO is not wrong, they didn't bully any of the smaller USSR countries to join them. Those countries willingly want to join them for their own interests.
