The nine oil-producing states in Nigeria shared N450.60 billion from the federation account through the 13 percent derivation formula in 2021.

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed that Delta, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Rivers, Edo, Ondo, Imo, Lagos and Abia received the fund.
The 13 percent derivation fund comes from the federation revenue to oil-producing communities through the state governments as enshrined in section 162, sub-section 2 of the Nigerian constitution.
Analysis of the report by TheCable Index showed that Delta state received the highest with a total of N141.93 billion, representing 31 percent of the total revenue from the derivation account.

Delta is followed closely by Akwa Ibom, having received N91.16 billion, representing 20 percent of the total disbursement during the period.
Other states include Bayelsa (N87.23 billion), Rivers (N83.12 billion), Edo (N17.12 billion), Ondo (N11.50 billion), Imo (N9.98 billion), Abia (N4.78 billion) and Lagos (N3.78 billion).
The 13 percent derivation fund is different from the three percent provided for host communities in the PIA from the oil company’s operating expenses (OPEX).

DESPITE DERIVATION FUNDS, LAGOS, RIVERS, AKWA IBOM AMONG MOST INDEBTED STATES
Despite 13 percent derivation, oil-producing states are still battling with high domestic debt and suffering from massive infrastructure decay, among many others.
Lagos, Rivers and Akwa Ibom are peculiar examples.
According to the Debt Management Office (DMO), Lagos leads with a total debt of N532.12b billion, followed by Akwa Ibom and Rivers state with N234.85 billion and 226.35 billion, respectively, at the end of Q3 2021.
Delta has a domestic debt of N207.16 billion, followed by Imo, Bayelsa, Abia, Edo and Ondo state with N151.31 billion, N145.80 billion, N89.30 billion, N80.22 billion and N65.42 billion, respectively.
Apart from Lagos ($1.41 billion) and Edo ($280.29 million), no other oil-producing states fell into the top ten list of indebted states (external debts).

Rugaria:
Most of the Oil production numbers ascribed to all these South West states are fake. They control The NNPC together with their fulani cousins so it's always easy to juggle the numbers.. That's why i seldom dabble into these discussions anymore, at the appointed time, the fact will be revealed and shame will catch all of una. It's just like the same way they created an imaginary Niger Delta Oil behemoth that excluded Igbo states, yet, every available independent data from foreign oil companies will tell you that the Igbo speaking parts of Rivers and Delta states produce more oil inland, than any other states. Essentially, the reason the likes of Asari Dokubo and his brothers are eager to safeguard Fulani oil assets in the east is because most of the pipelines carry Oil from Igbo communities across some ijaw terrain on their way to be exported.

They are now trying to rewrite the narrative around the gas pipeline to Niger republic being vigorously built by Buhari! Almost all the gas to be piped to Niger will come from Imo and Abia states. Imo State and Abia state have the biggest gas deposits in Africa and The Nigerian Ministry of petroleum is desperately trying to pivot to gas sales and Oil prices plummet worldwide in normal times.. But if you watch carefully, the owambe press always hide these juicy parts of the story. They try to make it look like the pipelines will originate from Lokoja. They can't come to accept their entire future might depend on these people they hate so much.. That's why they will hate the igbos with a type of passion never seen anywhere but if the same igbos decide to go, they will all start shitting in their tribal pants like one Bola Tinupoo..
As we speak, Southeast produces zero gas output. The gas project in imo is still work in progress, it's not completed yet. Much of the gas we use in the country & being supplied to West African neighborhood are from Delta & Bayelsa.

The combined derivation of Ondo & Lagos is more than that of Imo & Abia, which speaks volumes of the lower oil & gas output in iboland. Little quantity, little output, little derivation.

All these based on the data from your Owambe and oluwole press at Lagos- Ibadam expressway.. Do you even know where igboland begins and ends and do you even know the amount of Oil from these places? You guys are desperately trying to clinge on like some desperate parasites but very soon you will be forced to finance these your hedonistic lifestyles from the bountiful receipts from your Cocoa sales and imaginery Kuwait at Ondo..
