Who is the official winner?
PRP guys are seriously protesting the results. Tudun wada-kabong magic happened with a few PUs left.

APC stayed out since they knew their members betrayed them. They told PRP to carry their cross.

True.the APC candidate was imposed by the Governor

Many are even happy that APC lost.

Not a good outing for PDP nonetheless.

The Plateau bye-election was a protest by APC....On another day, the PDP won't win. Losing Akure & CRS shows they can't win the 2023 election, let's be honest here.
Lol... 2023 is far to conclude. A lot can still happen before then. It's too early to talk about 2023. The only person I fear is tinubu, if it gets the ticket, then APC would stand a good chance, otherwise, Atiku will still get PDP ticket, not minding wike and his ramble. Atiku will easily defeat any APC candidate except tinubu.

APC won the Pankshin South Constituency
PDP won Jos North/Bassa

APC won Ogoja/Yala
PDP won Akpabuyo State Constituency

APC won Akure North/Akure South

You know Wike over-estimates himself too much. He didn't deliver Ogoja so he should rest IJN. I even heard he wants to run as VP, let him come so that PDP will be buried in Nigeria patapata.

Atiku is the biggest candidate for the PDP but majority of the PDP Govs don't want him. How he navigates that, time will tell.

For the APC, it strictly depends on only one person - Buhari. His direction is where everyone else will go. You can campaign but everybody will follow his direction.

Let's see how 2023 goes....I don't think the APC can be lodged though.

It not magic. it's the largest ward which has expanded for obvious reasons. APC stood no chance. PDP was robbed last time & with the governor's indifference to crisis affecting the natives the die was already cast. Agah stood with his people during the killings thus the popularity. The election was about party not candidate. The governor acted right late in the day. He understood that non Hausas - fulani residents were against fielding another stranger for the APC as was for in d Jos North LG election thus his choice of a native so as to divide PDP which to an extent he achieved. Majority of APC votes are votes from natives & plateau indigenes while that of PRP is 98% hausa=fulani Muslims.

Lol... Wike na idiot nah.. If not because Jonathan helped him in 2015 tsunami, he would have been in exile by now. Jonathan rigged that election for him and in 2019, Abe and Amaech fight also helped him. Lol... He actually thinks he's relevant cheesy

Well, I see Atiku getting the ticket once again. Forget buhari, he might not be interested that much. Remember Atiku gave him a strong fight in 2019 with his strong federal mights. I can tell you with this new electoral law, And buhari not on ballot, Atiku is man to beat. Unless Tinubu, I fear that man.

Buhari will be a major determinant who gets his Party's ticket.

Sure Atiku is the biggest fish in the polity not only in PDP but his fate is not in his hands. Wike is the libro of PDP. He knows his limits. I doubt he wud be given VP. His antics is helping to keep PDP united. Without his state's money PDP is good to go. A Northern PDP candidate would do great harm to APC. Baba's days diehard fellowership is near over. Most of PDP members who turned over to APC to aid him are already planning to return to the fold they left thus the crisis & cautious warning by GMB that without a united front APC wud lose. He understands the water flowing under the bridge

Yeah, Buhari will anoint someone, and once he does that, all the APC northern governors will queue behind. But I don't know how buhari will want disappoint tinubu. I'm sure they reached agreements in 2014 during the primary, otherwise Atiku would have beaten buhari in that primary blue black. Tinubu even went ahead to support him in the main election. So I don't think Buhari will betray him this time and I don't see that happening. Even if buhari has a candidate beside tinubu, he might just want to throw it open in order not hurt both parties. If that happens, tinubu will win the primary landslide.

I can predict but I can't say for certain. Northern electorates are done with Sai baba but are keeping their choices to their chest. The killings & destruction of our economy is enough brain resetting. If he dares the people, he would be disgraced thus his cautious move towards 2023. It's PDP's if they act right

It must be connected to issues of internal democracy. Maybe the person majority wanted was circumvented by powers that be. I love what happened in that regard. The political class must realize that the ultimate power in democracy belongs to the people.

Agah was also imposed but the electorates looked beyond that &still voted for PDP. The Hausa Fulani community wanted the APC ticket when they failed they choose PRP. Aparty & disenfranchisement affected both APC & PDP. Bassa their home front has lots of displaced people & abandoned community thus denying many the opportunity to vote. Everything been equal the APC candidate could have score more votes though he won't win

The APC leaders in the state failed on emotional intelligence. If you realize the hausa fulanis have that much number why not pander to them by giving the ticket to them? Candidates with the ability to win elections should be given priority in circumstances like that.

Because they managed to upturn earlier deficits with just about 4 wards left, in addition to the cancelled unit votes there in. I was marvelled on how they did it.
