Another fake news from popular British news media Sky news, has been bursted.

Sky news had shared the former miss Ukrainian's photo, adorned in a combat jacket and leather gloves, the ex beauty queen posed with what seemed like an assault rifle, but as now been established to be in fact an airsoft rifle (this is a toy gun which shoots non lethal, plastic pellets.

The misinformation was first spotted by Twitter users who showed images of the toy gun up for sale in an online arms purchase site.

Many civilians are picking up guns to protect thier country. Whether this particular civilian did that or not does not change anything. People are dying in hundreds in Ukraine, I don't think this beautiful young lady's gun or lack of it changes that. If she's not fighting with guns, she's fighting with her moral support.

At this point, it would be more useful to start discussing possible solutions. I'd like to know what Putin is bringing to the table as a way out cause asking Ukraine not to join NATO and/or EU without providing any formal reassurance that they'd be free of his aggression going forward is not an option. That's not how things work at the global stage. Even the US makes compromises. Ukraine was pushed to NATO by Russia's consistent violation of the old agreements. They cannot just remain that way.
