Please i need your advice.

My 2009 Toyota Corolla is not shifting to gear 4. My mechanic noticed it when he changed the fuel pump,

I have changed the transmission oil but the issue persists.

Gear one, two and three changes normally and the car is driving smoothly.

I don't know what the challenge is

If possible, please recommend a very good transmission mechanic in Abuja that i can visit?

Do a diagnostic scan with a scan tool and find out any trouble code in your transmission. This would be your first guide

when you have done the scan, make a fresh post on this thread link below, detailing the problem you are experiencing with your car as well as the codes that popped up when you ran the scan, so as to get further advise

Seems like a sensor is bad. Scan the car and post the results.

The knock sensor could be the culprit. When there is an issue with the knock sensor, there is every tendency that the car will go into safe mode. Have it scanned and fixed accordingly

Most if not all of us as Nigerians in a Nigerian forum, including yourself, know what he referred to as "brain box".. If you didn't, you wouldn't have known to correct ' him.
