Help! My 2009 Toyota Corolla Is Not Shifting To Gear 4 / Reasons Why Electric Cars Have Only 1 Gear & Not Multi-geared Like Typical Cars / 2010 Corolla Gear Problems (2) (3) (4)

I have this issue with my 2010, south African corolla. While in motion, I get up to 60km/h at 2000rpm, if I go beyond 60km/h my rpm will start going very high up to 4000rpm. What could really be the cause, is it transmission, or a sensor I don't know, the gear oil is well guaged and I have never serviced the gear before. Mechanics are finding it difficult to diagnose the issue. Please help |

BEDEIKE:Check the colour of the ATF (automatic transmission fluid) a.k.a gear oil. If it’s very black, change it and make sure you use the original Toyota transmission fluid, Type IV. Hopefully, it works out well for you. Don’t let any rewire touch your transmission without first scanning it. If the problem persists, just buy another gear, so as not to be throwing money down the pit. 1 Like |

Nothing is wrong with the gear then. When last did you change gear oil? Which oil did you change with ? |

Good afternoon gurus in the house. Pls I need your help, my Honda city 2008 check engine light always comes up and when it happens,the car can't move well. After scanned with a small scanner, I saw P1888 and P1887. Pls what is the cause and possibly solution. Help a brother. Thanks |
