So, it's no longer news that Russia has invaded Ukraine and the world is having to deal with the fallout.

But let's rewind back to two weeks ago. The West is warning that Russia is about to invade Ukraine and you are its president. What would you have done in that situation?

It would be nice to research most sides of the standoff before commenting.

If my neighbours bring in Marijuana smoking hoodlums, I will invade them and kick them out

If my neighbour has Python, Crocodile, Lions and Tigers for pet in his house, I will get a gun, invade his house and kill them all

If my neighbour has an unhygienic stinking fowl house which affects my breathing space , I will invade his house and make him clean up

I will do everything possible to Align myself with countries moving ahead. I won't do like nigerian government aligning with Niger republic that has nothing to offer Economically or Security.

And if the existence and freedom of my people are threatened, i will simply tilt towards having greater and deeper friendship with countries like South Africa and Egypt.

This seems simple enough. That they couldn't allow this happen shocks me. They could just allow the Donbass region be autonomous and respect Russians in Ukraine.

That these compromises couldn't be made without an invasion signifies that some of what Putin is saying is correct. There is a calculated attempt to undermine Russia as a power by the Americans especially.
