Omicron007:i don't know if you are stupid or a propagandist. Ukraine has been trying to join NATO for more than 20 years which they didn't, why will NATO accept them now. Russia is just like Nigeria with bad leaders who loot public funds and mismanaged the country, Russia economy had been failing for years, their infrastructure has been outdated. The country as always get its resources from other Soviet countries, country like china has take over Russia in everything, this war was Putin way of taking Russia to is past glory, which seems to be falling, the economy is getting worst, billionaires waking up to find out that they are now millionaires, this war was supposed to not past a week now it's in it's 2 week, even him knows he is failing, Russia can destroy Ukraine if they want to but that is not the goal, the goal was to take over Ukraine and Georgia has fast as possible with little resources, now he has pissed of the billionaires and the generals buy let Neto to expand to Finland, Sweden who also share boarder with Russia. If Putin don't navigate this crisis fast, I see him going out like Cesar or Gaddafi 1 Like |

Yommychrz: Is Ukraine the one starting the war? So Ukraine and his citizens should hands down and run away as Russia invades? Why hasn't your president and your fellow Nigerians run away from Nigeria or surrendered to the invading BokoHaram and bandits? Some of you here on Nairaland are plainly stupid. You just talk without thinking. Ukrainians are not cowards you people want them to be. Even if the loss, they have proven that to the world. 1 Like |

The only reason it seems Russia has not achieved their aim is because they have not use "shock and awe" as the Americans used in Iraq. The Russians want to avoid civilian casualty. And western outcry. This has caused Russian casualties. Now where the westerners have made a mistake in my view is that with all the devastating sanctions, Russia has nothing to lose than to go all the way. Shock and awe should come next. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Ask yourself why the USA is hesitating and you'd understand that the world is survival of the fittest. If it were to be African countries or other countries with less military strength they would have invaded in the name of peace keeping, as I said in another post . Terrorism is only a term used to describe an oppressed people fighting back against a greater state. All we are seeing from the mighty USA now are speculations and predictions. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Some clowns on this forum actually think this is soccer where you chose to root for a club. I mean a sovereign state is invaded without any concrete evidence of provocation other than the fact that they want to belong to an organisation and some M.ad leader somewhere says that association will amount to a threat to his country and such Ukraine must be invaded.... Yet some I.diot is even gloating and calling the Russian 40 mile convoy of attacking vehicles "our 40 mile convoy.."..Imagine such ignoramus! 1 Like |

CharleyBright:Nobody despises the US or whatsoever, you might be right when you say people will sleep at at US embassy rather than china or Russia to get a citizenship. They have more opportunity and a big Economy but the truth is i hate the US Imperialism and foreign policy,so i will always support the Kremlin because they are trying to build a Multi polar world 1 Like 1 Share |

bluefilm: Just see the countries you are comparing to Ukraine. Is Ukraine a brutal dictatorship and sponsor of terrorism where woman are subjugated? Ukraine’s ONLY sin is that it wants to be free, as a sovereign nation, to join any association if it so chooses! |

CharleyBright:it's because the USA benefited the most from slavery and cos that's where the Europeans used for their plantation . They had advantage over the world coz of their mixture . Rather they are using their might to subdue the natural growth of the world. By antagonizing every other ideology. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Odewaleadesoye: It will lose but remained an independent nation, not a Russia puppet. So, Russia want to preside and boss a wasted field? Putin isn't thinking right. I know Ukraine can't resist for too long, Kyiv will fall but Russia has gotten a baby to field forever....because Ukrainians won't forever abandoned their motherland... they will continue to wage war against Russian occupier. The film is just starting... Sit and enjoy. |
