Lekki/Ajah axis in Lagos: Normal price but whenever it's available, the filling station is turned to a market square and you are charged 100-300 for buying in Jerry cans. cheesy

Someone should tell DPR officials to start patrolling to make sure that filling stations sell petrol at approved prices. Those people receive fat salaries for doing practically nothing. That's why their top officials develop potbellies; they do nothing!

don't tell them anything please. all they will do is go and shakedown station dealers - who will then transfer that shakedown cost to you
DPR is like any other official body charged with regulation enforcement - a gang using their power to enrich themselves

It's not funny any more, the queue is frustrating. My question is how is it possible that black market sell, what we find hard to purchase.
Most filling station is 180
Black market is 350 to 400
Abuja

At a particular gas station in Lagos, I got PMS at #175 per liter while Northwest in VGC, Ajah sells at normal rate (except I was debited twice and I didn't get a refund, 10k wasted)

In Abuja, I got fuel at #400 per litre but from the black market sellers

Yesterday in Lagos, I got a litre for #600 while others sell at #700.

Just for information sake, how much is fuel in your area?

N10k is not a small amount of money but Nigerians have assumed it is. N10k is USD20 which is a lot of money - even abroad ppl wont rest till they get their money back - they won't forfeit their USD20 just like that. Fight till you get your money back...it is not a small amount.

That's not totally true. I once managed an NNPC filling station and understand that DPR officials can work if they really want to.

NNPC station is the key word there na. unless you are one of those franchisees and even then - you are all part of the same family under the nnpc umbrella.

go and ask the dealers of major marketers.

the last major fuel scarcity they were multiple false accusations of hoarding and everyone went to queue at vi office to settle.

You seems not to be current. DPR that FG has scrapped after the passage of PIA bill. It is now unofficial that PMS price has increase

I pity southern political elites. South cannot play politics with the northern elites because northerners will always outsmart the south. The south have been clamoring for APC to zone Thier presidency to the south, now that have their wish forgetting that an average northerner do not play a politics of fairness but that of regionalism and ethnicity. I make bold to say that, this fuel scarcity and the internal crises in APC are all deliberate acts perpetrated by the northern cabals to turn the heart of Nigerians against the party in order for a northern PDP candidate to emerge come 2023. Southerners are learners when it comes to Nigeria politics
