Chechens have started posting videos of Ukrainian neonazzi beheadings in Azov
if it's true they sure are making the way for Putin to be charged with war crimes since the soldiers all surrendered

They are not soldiers, the neonazzis are volunteers(enemy combatants, the classification us uses to kill people all over the world), and they are nazi fascists no sympathy

This is totally foolish "greased their bullets with pork fat"
Propaganda at its highest form and sorry for you for believing it..... trying to justify their extreme taste for blood.
Or is it because of their (chenchen) general that was killed few days back.

WTF is going on...huh

The United States has announced sanctions on a Tanzanian national for his role in financing the ISIS-backed insurgency in Mozambique.

Washington says Peter Charles Mbaga, aka Abu Kaidha, facilitated fund transfers from South Africa, where he is based, and helped an armed group linked to the Islamic State (ISIS) purchase equipment on the South African market.

The 45-year-old is further cited for seeking to purchase weapons in Mozambique.

The US “is taking this action to disrupt and expose key ISIS supporters who exploit South Africa’s financial system to facilitate the funding of ISIS affiliates and networks across Africa,” said US Treasury under Secretary Brian E. Nelson.

The ISIS militia has staged attacks in villages and towns in northern Mozambique since October 2017, killing more than 2,500 people and destroying crucial infrastructure, including schools and health centres.

More than 800,000 people have been displaced since April 2020, following an escalation in the violence.

But calm returned after the Rwandan military and Southern African Development Community forces routed ISIS-affiliated insurgents from the troubled natural gas-rich region.

The US says ISIS members and their associates in South Africa are playing an increasingly central role in facilitating funds transfer from the top of the ISIS hierarchy to affiliates across Africa.

“Recently, ISIS has attempted to expand its influence in Africa through largescale operations in areas where government control is limited. ISIS affiliates in Africa rely on local fundraising schemes, such as theft, extortion of local populations and kidnapping for ransom, as well as financial support from the ISIS hierarchy,” Washington says.

Along with Mbaga, the US also sanctioned an Ethiopian Abdella Hussein Abadigga, from Oromia, who lives in Johannesburg as a refugee and two South African nationals - Farhad Hoomer and Siraaj Miller. The ISIS-linked individuals are designated as financial facilitators of terrorism.

The aerial operation by the Nigerian Airforce (NAF), Air Component of Operation Thunder Strike and Operation Gama Aiki took place on Wednesday between 4.45 pm and 6.34 pm in some bandit camps within Ghana in Niger State

This is coming barely a week after the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, reassured Nigerians that terrorists and insurgents will have no hiding place.

PRNigeria gathered that the terrorists have been under surveillance for some time and were observed to be in three different groups of approximately 40 terrorists, with at least 25 motorcycles per group.

However, rather than strike individual group separately, which may not achieve the desired outcome, the surveillance team patiently waited until the three groups gathered at a crossroad location near Ghana Village.

It was at this point that the Air strikes were authorized.

A military intelligence source, privy to the operation, revealed that precision strikes of troops had a 100 percent accuracy, going by the intensity and spread of the fireball which entirely engulfed the terrorists.

“At least nothing less than 150 terrorists perished in that strike,” according to the source.

A minimal number of survivors were however seen crawling or barely limping off from the location, which the ground troops immediately mobbed up.

The Niger State Government, through the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Internal Affairs, Mr Emmanuel Umar, at a briefing in Minna on Wednesday, confirmed that over 200 terrorists were killed by military air strikes and other joint operatives in some Villages in Mariga LGAs and other parts of the state between 28 February and 2 March 2022.

When contacted, NAF Spokesperson Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet confirmed that strikes were indeed authorized and carried out alongside sister Services and security agencies on terrorists’ locations somewhere in Mariga LGA of Niger State, after days of intensive surveillance so as to avoid unintended casualties.

African countries are always quick to do what us and Europe tells them but if you read the sanctions carefully you will see that they have sanctioned Russian vessels but the oil is not. They have actually increased amount of oil bought from Russia since the conflict started.

Africans should do what is best for their people including buying oil which Russia has currently discounted and wheat to lower food prices

The only thing you do with this post is feeding the western narrative of dump Africans. Every serious professional in Africa understands how these sanctions are knitted. African countries should buy OPEC-oil and directly support countries like Nigeria not Russia.

The best move would be to stop using SWIFT and use the Chinese CIPS/SPFS. This would sanction proof any country

Why has Nigeria never built pipelines to other African countries that get their oil from ships?

No it is not! Is it floating around again? It was thoroughly debunked back in 2014 when it started doing the rounds.

Putin was nothing important in the Soviet's Communist Party. He just worked as a low level spy like many boys of his era, he was actually close to be an "informat" than being an actual tactical spy. In fact he was so unimportant he even got fired at it and even considered driving a taxi in Moscow for survival.

I don't understand people who continue spreading this fake photo. In 1973 Putin was a 20 year old university student. He was never involved in African struggles. That is not Mnangagwa in that picture.

When the SASF shot down a Soviet Antonov An-12 in Angola carrying Soviet and Cuban advisors. Earlier on, the SASF had captured a Soviet 9K31 Strela (similar to the also captured one in picture), then positioned it on a flight route to southern Angola, on sight the commander gave instruction to fire a missile.

RIP to the unfortunate guys, HOWEVER, it was a tactical decision to weaken the enemy's ability to wage a meaningful assault on UNITA and SADF.

One of the most daring stunts pulled by any SOFs in the world at that time.

Things are about to get interesting for our Namibian cousins.

At least 3 billion barrels: TotalEnergies' Venus is Sub-Saharan Africa's biggest ever oil discovery

TotalEnergies’ enormous Venus-1 discovery offshore Namibia holds at least 3 billion barrels of recoverable oil and is Sub-Saharan Africa’s biggest ever oil find, according to a confidential report from an industry-leading consultant.

Upstream broke the news on the huge discovery last week, just a month or so after revealing exclusively that Shell had also made a big oil discovery in Namibia with its Graff-1 wildcat.

This weeks East African says ENI has found 4 bn barrels oil in Lamu. They're still quantifying the volume but allowing for exaggeration to entice investors it should be minimum 2.5 bn barrels. You can see its in the middle of disputed territory we were ordered by the ICJ to hand over to Somalia-AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!?
Its easier to market than the Turkana find and also some 8x larger: hope we can capture the tail end of the oil trade!
