Bad. I keep telling psychopaths that the quality of government regime is not in how many infrastructures done by the regime. The quality is in the cost of the infrastructure.

EXAMPLES:
Governor A did 10 projects and embezzled more than 200% of the actual cost of the project. Governor B did 5 projects and embezzled less than 20% of the actual cost of the 5 projects. Governor C did only two projects without any embezzlement of funds. Psychopaths will rate Governor A the best and rate Governor C the worst even if you tell them that Governor A is the only one innocent of embezzlement.

But at least, the state has something to show, unlike other states that use substandard projects to fool people. Akwa Ibom builds GOOD roads. Every road built in Akwa Ibom lasts beyond 10 years without any porthole or maintenance. Only Lagos, Abuja and Cross River are next to Akwa Ibom. For other states, the roads develop potholes within 4 years and get reconstructed within 10 years. Do not misunderstand me, I am not trying to justify any corrupt act in Akwa Ibom.
Why is it then called a "secret loan" abi the infrastructures and developments are secrets too??
Oga, Akwa ibom is an oil producing state okay. Don't go around comparing it to all the states in Nigeria.
If you use 200 billion construct a road, then keep to yourself cos na una money e be. Other states too are trying their best.
It's just like comparing California to North Carolina. E no just make sense.
Lastly, una go still pay una loan cos una get the oil. Patapata, them put pipe there connect am to Abuja straight.

Madam, it is not about whether Akwa Ibom gets more money than other states. It is a question of how each state uses its own allocation. My points are two:

One, what percentage of the allocation is embezzled?
Two, for each project a state executes, what is the durability? I said that Akwa Ibom builds roads that lasts long.

It is not about Akwa Ibom building more roads than other states. It is about Akwa Ibom making each road last long . It is not about how many projects, it is about the standard of each project (quality over quantity).

It is not about how many projects, it is about the cost and the standard of each project (quality over quantity). Some governors or states dubiously build low-standard projects at a very high cost. Some governors or states sincerely and rationally build high-standard projects at a low cost.

EXAMPLES:
Governor A did 10 projects and embezzled more than 200% of the actual cost of the 10 projects. Governor B did 5 projects and embezzled less than 20% of the actual cost of the 5 projects. Governor C did only two projects without any embezzlement of funds. Psychopaths will rate Governor A the best and rate Governor C the worst even if you tell them that Governor C is the only one innocent of embezzlement. This is why the intention behind an action matters more than the action itself. Why do some successors demolish projects started by predecessors instead of completing those projects? Why do some wait till towards the end of their tenures before starting meaningful projects? Do the delay and the demolition favour the masses? Does the demolition recover public funds spent on the project? The answer is no but fools support those things out of sentiments.

But at least, Akwa Ibom State has something to show, unlike other states that use substandard projects to fool people. Akwa Ibom builds GOOD roads (quality over quantity). Please what's wrong in taking a "secret" loan. By the way my observation is that the writer chose to use the word "secret" because it's sensational. The issue of heavy borrowing is not alien. States like Akwa Ibom has heavy inflow and they like to undertake massive investments, so it will only make sense for them to get funding. Udom's government still has several capstone projects to complete, I only imagine the state government getting cash strapped to complete and commission them in time.

Yeah one would still argue that it is an election year, true, but the stakes are too high for the government to throw money heavily on elections. The governor knows that if projects are left uncompleted that that would lead to distrust and anarchy, discrediting everything he stands for especially his handpicked successor.

Can't you ask your question without insults? Even if you disagree with my claim that Lagos and Cross River are next to Akwa Ibom, does it mean everything I said is nonsense?

A loan collected by a state government is supposed to be publicized. Not doing it makes the loan secret. It is bad. Akwa Ibom is not the only state guilty of it. Naija is so corrupt that what the public deserves to know is often kept secret.
