What do you mean by "later get staffed"?

I think Trainee Roles are like training programs that run for a certain period of time, then after the training program elapses, the good ones among the trainees become permanent employees (get staffed). I might be wrong though, just a personal thought.

Please, if you have better clarification regarding Trainee roles, kindly share.

Thanks.

You're not outrightly wrong. Often times trainees get automatic placements after training, except in cases of casualties during the cause of training in which the trainee cannot continue with the training. In that case, the trainee will be compensated.

Another case that might hinder the placement of a trainee, is if it was discovered that the trainee presented false information during the recruitment process. Aside these, trainees get automatic placements after undergoing trainings.

Trainee Operators and technicians are full staff of the company. In fact, they are senior staffers hence they are members of PENGASSAN.
They'll remain in these positions until they're promoted.
This recruitment - if chosen - is for staff positions. It is not a contract job!

Hope this helps?

I don’t understand the £520 and N108,000. Is it that N108,000 was paid monthly and £520 was paid generally after training or what?

These payments were done together every month throughout the training period before the confirmation letter. Money matter no be problem ...na to get in first lol....also what ScofieldBello said on getting staffed na senior staff straight oo

Seeing as the interview process is over, I'll suggest we leave some useful tips about our interview for posterity. Like your course, questions you were asked and advice for others. What do you guys think?

For those that might need this in the future.... Electrical interview questions wasn't really basic o... Deep questions ranging from Transformers, Electric motors, 3phase and 1phase system, actuators, Fuses, CBs, Relays and the likes were asked..... Mainly power and machines.... Also questions on general safety was asked...... I just hope someone in the future finds this useful.

Nice one guys. Well, I'm mechanical; Please and please, know the core of mechanical very well; Valves, pumps, compressors, turbines, boilers, etc. Their types, application, and WORKING PRINCIPLES. Mechanical laws like Archimedes, hookes law, etc and their applications. Machining, machine tools, types, and machining terms like tolerance, clearance, fits, and the likes.

These people like APPLICATIONS a lot; whatever you read, please read it's applications also. With God and a determined mindset, you too will get in as I got in (faithing it as at the moment of typing this.)

And they usually ask a single safety question but chances that it's hazard related is very high. What are the hazard associated with operating Rotating Equipment, hazard in the oil and gas sector, etc; Difference between hazard and risk and some practical example. Define hazard, fire, explain fire triangle. Major advice here is just start preparing early and you'll be fine.

Peace. grin

Electrical questions were deep though, mostly based on HND course work. Requires divine directions and wide reading range.

There were pool of questions, from which I can recall 3 core electrical questions on: 3 phase and single phase system, synchronous speed of generator, fuse and a question on speed control with each questions having a son
1 general safety question and one Hr question (a practical work related scenario like that). 5 questions, all timed.

Hope we find this useful in time coming
