Not correct. Even if the UN approves a no fly zone over Ukraine, no country will try to enforce it. Doing that would amount to drawing NATO and the US into the conflict and it is something they all are avoiding.

Trump is the most foolish man ever lived. Had he got the 2nd term ticket, he'd have attacked Russia. Maybe you and I would have been wiped off by now by Russia nuclear weapon. Who told you guys that Ukrain was Putin's target? His target was NATO, EU,US and her allies. He's been planning this for over a decade. For him to achieve his heinous plan, he must first stage a provocative war against Ukrain due to the latter's position, thinking NATO and EU would atrack him after which he'd unleash the nuke.

Yes, most people in Donbass speak Russian as a first language. However, Ukranians are still the majority in Donbass and the Russians are a minority. The Russian-speaking Ukranians are a result of suppression of the Ukrainian language in schools and in public under decades of Russian and Soviet rule.

Almost all of the people that I see on NL that are pro-russian don't have a basic understanding of the historical context of the region. The basis of their narrow-minded thinking is:
"Ukraine is bad because they are supported by the west which is also bad." OR
"Russia is good because Putin (the dictator who kills and oppresses dissidents) is a strong leader."
