Unknown Gunmen attacked a priest with the Enugu Catholic Diocese, Rev Fr. Bartholomew Nnanyelugo Chime and shot him in the leg, Reports.

According to Sources, the priest, who was ordained last December, was accosted by the hoodlums on Friday, March 4, while on pastoral work.

Sources said after that the hoodlums accosted the priest, they asked him to release all the money he had on him.
“He told them that he did not have money. They collected his telephone and shot him in the leg, put him in the trunk of his car and drove away. When they got to former tollgate along Enugu-Onitsha Road, they dumped him inside the bush and zoomed off with his car," one of the sources said.

"Through the special grace of God, he crawled out of the bush and called for help before. Those who saw him took him to the hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.”

The Communication Director, Enugu Catholic Diocese, Rev Fr Benjamin Achi, who confirmed the attack, lamented the high rate of insecurity in Enugu State.

He asked political leaders and security agencies to live up to their responsibility of securing lives and the properties of the citizens.

"The hoodlums accosted father, searched him and asked him to give them money but he told them he didn’t have money. So, they shot him on the leg and took him somewhere and dumped him inside the bush and left," Achi said.

"We give God all the glory that Fr Chime survived the onslaught because he was badly shot. Currently, he is responding to treatment in a hospital,” he added.

Bringing partisan politics into a reasonable submission is rather naive. I haven't spoken as a politician. The post doesn't root for anyone. The grouse is pellucid enough. Anyone with simple comprehension skills should be able to sift it.

Is the right to protest guaranteed in a democracy? Yes.

Can the government ensure that the protest doesn't degenerate into chaos? Yes!

Did the leaders of this administration enjoy the right to protest against the last government? Yes!

The most sane thing the govt can do is to hear out the protesters and address their grievances first...
the moment u talked about the party in power u went partisan this matter happen in Lagos and Lagos govt don't want endsars destruction to happen again which is why they called security guys... Did women not protest In Abuja over some bills nass refused to sign last week?? Govt is already on d Case what do d busy body protesters want to do other than disturb the peace of others.. see u can vote PDP come 2023 but others have right to vote APC to that's democracy to...

Biafra: Forgive Us Our Sins By Cancelling The Sit At Home Order- Ohanaeze by dailytells: 8:51am On Oct 29, 2021
The Socio-cultural organization of Ndigbo – Ohanaeze has called on the leadership of Indegineous People of Biafra (IPOB) to forgive their sins and cancel the sit at home order.

“FORGIVE US OUR SINS BY CANCELLING THE SIT AT HOME ORDER”- OHANAEZE BEGS IPOB

DailyTells understands that the sit at home order will affects the outcome of the forth coming governorship election in Anambra.

The Ohanaeze are of the opinion that election should hold and the people should be allowed to exercise their franchise.

These are reactions from the people:

“Forgive yourself by releasing MNK and Biafra after that you can go to Nigeria and vote for election pls Ohanaeze”. Jerry Joshua

‘This their useless begging is just a corocodie tears because I thought they first command us not to obey IPOB sit at home order why begging IPOB now and if not that their selfish interest why shouldn’t them take this their foolish begging to their so called federal government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu unconditional, mad people everywhere’ – Uka Michael

“Amend ur ways by releasing the only man that meant well for you (sabo) and the entire Biafrans. Then u will be forgiven after ndigbo have gone their ways”. Chinere

“When I remember how this so called ohaneze and south east governors came together and proscribe IPOB I still wept… Truth be told they the cause of all this problem, at that time of proscription no life been waste by IPOD, no sit at home, no vandalization of govment property, yet d did dat all in the name of satisfying their master’s interest… Now despite d atrocities been committed by herders and bandit in d north , yet their master refuse to poscribe them because they are their kinsmen”. – Tochi Kinsley

“Go and appeal to the Presidency to release our leader. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“The sit at home has nothing to do with politicians and to rich men, is us that is suffering it, before some people get daily food now is very hard pls am begging after that election day we go out for business till the day court.”

Police Shut Anambra Restaurant For Serving Human Flesh by MichaelSokoto(m): 1:46pm On May 17, 2015

A restaurant in Anambra has reportedly been shut
down for cooking human flesh and serving it to
customers.
The police were tipped off by locals who suspected
something horrific was taking place inside the
kitchen.
They raided the hotel restaurant to discover human
heads which were still dripping with blood in plastic
bags.
A local priest who ate at the restaurant was alarmed
at the price of meals there, let alone where the
meat came from, BBC Swahili reported.
He was presented with a bill of N700.
The priest said: ‘The attendant noticed my reaction
and told me it was the small piece of meat I had
eaten that made the bill scale that high.
“I did not know I had been served with human meat,
and that it was that expensive.”
The police also found a terrifying arsenal of weapons
which included grenades when they raided the
restaurant. Ten people were arrested in connection
to the crimes.
One resident said, “I am not surprised at the
shocking revelation. Every time I went to the market,
I observed strange activities going on in the hotel.
“People who were never cleanly dressed and who
looked a bit strange made their way in and out of the
hotel, making me very suspicious of their activities.”

IPOB Moves To Confront Illegal Enforcers Of Sit-at-home In South East by gidgiddy: 9:28am On Mar 07
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), yesterday, said it will henceforth, confront enforcers of the non-existent sit-at-home order in the South East region.

Stressing that no group has monopoly of violence, it alleged that some politicians were recruiting criminals and cultists to attack innocent citizens in the name of enforcing non-existent Mondays’ stay-at-home directive in the region, especially in Enugu State.

Warning that it would no longer tolerate the killings and attacks on Mondays in the region, the group warned those responsible for the violence should desist or be ready to face them.

In a statement issued by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, it said: “Currently criminals are mobilising to attack innocent citizens in the name of enforcing non-existent Monday sit-at-home order, which IPOB had suspended a long time ago.

“We are informing those enforcing the non-existent Monday sit-at-home order to desist or be ready to contend with IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who initiated Monday sit-at-home order, but stopped it for obvious reasons.

“We have said it before that IPOB will release its security outfit to chase those enforcing the sit-at-home directive on Mondays. We can’t fold our hands and watch them unleash mayhem on innocent Biafra people on Mondays under the guise of enforcing a non-existent sit-at-home order. Enough is enough!”

He restated that those killing innocent people in the name of enforcing sit-at-home orders on Mondays were not IPOB members, insisting that IPOB could not be part of the destruction of the same people it has been striving to liberate.

“Enugu State is the capital and headquarters of Igbo land and needs to be peaceful and conducive for living. Enugu has been a peaceful home for all Ndigbo and strangers.

“The intention of the criminals behind the barbarity is to implicate the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and IPOB members, who are only agitating for the restoration of the Biafra nation. Their mission is to demonise Biafra agitators and truncate the agitation, but they came too late, because the world is already aware that we are a non-violent movement,” the statement added.

It lamented that socio-economic activities have continued to be grounded on Mondays in the South East region since August last year following the sit-at-home order.

Although the IPOB had cancelled the exercise, which was called due to Kanu’s continued detention, other gun-wielding persons have continued in the guise to kill and attack residents found on the streets or doing businesses on Mondays.

The group, therefore, insisted that there was no longer sit-at-homes in Biafra land except on the days Kanu would appear in court and IPOB’s activities would be publicized on such days, adding: “Any other thing to the contrary has nothing to do with IPOB and should be disregarded.”

Left to Social Media Court, that driver would have been Convicted & Executed by now.
But we need to allow proper investigations to be carried out by the police to establish facts & not sentiments.

But I think the driver was held at gunpoint by the rapists/ritualist/robbers. If he was part of the hoodlums, they most likely would not have allowed the lady to make calls & send info about the BRT.

But he is definitely culpable for not calling the police after the incident (though knowing our police, many of us would have done same under similar circumstances)
She entered that bus first and was doing that video when she felt all is not well or absurd.

Then all along the driver did not stop at bus stop to get more passengers, this she stated in the video. Then according to the video her friend then suggested to her that she should manage and stop in the next bus stop without waiting to get to her desire bus stop.

Only for the driver who have not be stopping at bus stop all these while pull up and get the supposed additional 3 men who boarded with her.
If they had entered with her they would have stop the video also her distance from the driver was far off so she may just be doing the video for fun and very far from the driver heaaring

When they got to where they want to execute their plan they then drag her down.

The driver must have been doing this for long,if she had not make that video note all this revelation would have been history.

The questions the driver will find difficult to answer are.

Why did he off the bus light?
Why did he not carry more passengers all along
Why did he fail to report to authority
While did he ascond for days only to show up when the video went viral.

I know ritualist or kidnapped will dare not entered a public transportation of brtbus because of the irregular uncertainty that come with the bus transportation.

Rather it is a complete plan work that they
must have been doing God just expose them

Logically protest is meant to call the attention of the government to an issue, to ensure certain actions are taken. In this case, the government has acted swiftly so what is the protest about?

This is implausible. If I don't criticize the government in power and all its schemes, who should I criticize?

Who has exclusively attributed the role of critiquing a govt to opposing parties?

this matter happen in Lagos and Lagos govt don't want endsars destruction to happen again which is why they called security guys... Did women not protest In Abuja over some bills nass refused to sign last week??
The endsars destruction happened because the protest was hijacked. That was obvious. The solution to that is not to prevent protests na. Govt can allow protest while they monitor them.

That armed robbers use Cars to rob doesn't mean a govt would ban cars, for instance. Similarly, preventing people from protesting is not the solution to avoiding destruction.

The right to protest is a KEY part of democracy. You can't sacrifice people's rights for your paranoia. It's absurd, really.

Govt is already on d Case what do d busy body protesters want to do other than disturb the peace of others.. see u can vote PDP come 2023 but others have right to vote APC to that's democracy to...
Govt is already on the case? How do you know that? How has the govt addressed similar issues in the past? Has justice been always been guaranteed?

Protest is a way for the people to participate in the quest for justice. You can't prevent a people from protesting in a democracy. It's ridiculous! It's ridiculous!

And, please, stop bringing party names into this. If you can't intelligently engage issues at their merit without mentioning party names, this space is not for you. You can take your silly biases to your Lords' campaign platforms.
