So when a man wearing this "head" cap abuses his role, he becomes contentious and those who rise up against him are his contenders.

Men who batter their wives are seen more in the south south than you would expect in the North such is seen amongst people who believe in culture of honor. Another thing is majority of igbos say 78% would never raise a finger on their wife no matter what. Especially the Roman Catholic igbos who went through marriage course would never dear hit their wife. Now his is my brief list of state of violent men or men with violent culture that does not see hitting a woman as a big deal. This include all the south states to exclude Osun most western states but to include Ondo and part of Ogun. The igbos are out on this list. From the least to the most vicious wife battering and violent people.

All these states also have their crop of amazingly good and well respected men who believe in the women right to air their voice. Aggressive tendencies stem from your level of exposure, your level of education, peer pressure if you keep bad friends who would most likely influence you to "do as i do," your orientation or upbringing especially for those who grew up in toxic or violent homes we it is trouble all year rounds. And how well traveled you are and not just a sitting dock domiciled in one region for the rest of your life playing local champion.

Travel around and explore other region and see the beauty in our diversity. We men need to stop thinking that women are our slaves or weaker vessel. No women are not. Infact women are the most powerful and the strongest creature God ever made. If you ask a livestock farmer, he would tell you he treasure his female livestock to his male livestock.
