There have been internal battles in the Donbass region of Ukraine for a while now and it didn't get this much intention. you should know why NATO is avoiding to join the war, firstly Ukraine is not yet a member of NATO , NATO is avoiding a nuclear war. If nuclear war happens, the whole world will feel the effect. Definitely Russia's artillery and ground weapons are mostly outdated with low morale fighters, already Russia called in Chechyna rebels and Belarus military for assistance.
