As long as Umahi has appealed the case, the judgement won't hold water until appeal court delivered it's judgement, even with that, supreme still dey to challenge appeal court decision

Yes he has the option to appeal, but he should be appealing from outside the government house. When a judgement is given, the judgement stands until an appeal renders it null. Somehow, I don’t think anything is going to change at this appeal. Oshiomole threw his weight around as a national party chairman confident in his invincibility until one local ward chairman shut him up & kicked him out! Umahi might have just played himself out of his mandate in the same way.

He has appealed the judgement, he still remains the governor pending the determination of the appeal and supreme court judgements. By then, he must have almost completed his tenure.

It baffles me how some lawyers disgrace themselves in the public. When election tribunal sacked wike(2015), Oyetola(2016) and Ikpazu by high court on case bordering on tax invasion, did they vacate office before appealing? This is d reason our courts keep giving conflicting judgements with f same evidence bcoz many of them think through dia anus.

Stop being a nuisance. The lawyer is correct. The judgment was a declaratory one which means he has to comply immediately while seeking appeal if he wishes so.

Who elect him? Inec said they are yet to be brief on the issue without issued certificate to anyone and he proceed to hijack government house he will regret the he came to this world.

I chose to sound more sane than u but many of u, including d lawyer are already calling him an ex_gov, and waiting for Gariwey to assume office.
