So you mean Nketiah can never be better than Lacazette? This kind of pessimistic comments is what makes Arsenal fans look stupid before other fans. We never appreciate our own. When I said of Vlahovic, how good he is, you condemned my comments, that you preferred Isak. Now you are wishing we got him. I also mentioned Guendouzi, you and Sod attacked me. My football eyes are better than all in this thread. Only Roland can try.

Remember we have a deal on Balogun? I am desperately waiting for you to bow to me.
Lol, don't tell me comprehension is something difficult for you or that the urge to get a W is making you to be irrational. I never said Nketiah can't be better than lacazette, I said "presently" Laca is the best fit for the 9 role and is better than Eddie. If you mean I meant in Eddie lifetime (as if I know how his future will be) then calm down and read my previous post.

As for the 2nd bolded, we no dey do competition for this thread of who's the best or who isn't. We're all here to share knowledge, give our opinions, argue civilly and banter responsibly not to claim whose football knowledge is better than who. So I don't know where this bolded is coming from sincerely.

Just calm down boss, we no dey fight you or drag invincible crown with you

Will you be comfortable if we sign a striker just to be giving assists?

I believe your answer will be no. So if that's the case then Laca is falling short of expectations. If Aubameyang had not left or if we had signed a replacement, we will not be having this discussion about Lacazette because he would be gone either out of the club or into oblivion.

He is doing his best and motivating the young lads, but how long will that last?

I repeat, once Nketiah starts scoring, Arteta will be done with Laca. By the way we play, he is supposed to be the end of the tactics, but he is missing chances and handing over scoring responsibilities to wingers who should be his support.

Laca will not see another season after this. Let's bet.
My position on Laca is clear, I wouldn't want him to extend for next season but that won't make me be blind to what he's doing.
Moreover I said in my previous post, as long as Laca presence helps us to fashion out chances, dominate teams, create and score goals and earn us top 4, I don't care if he finishes with 1 goal all season

You're the one obsessed with our striker scoring goal, I'm obsessed with my team dominating and winning games. I'll prefer my team to be man city where the goals are shared than to be a Tottenham where Kane is scoring 70% of their goals and yet they end trophy-less

What?? ??
Heavens forbid for my arsenal..
grin grin I was right...

Because he played in Smartbank? Hope you know a lot of la Liga teams were after him but they couldn't meet Almeria's asking price. There is not much difference between him and Isak IMO

Kane and Umar Sadiq are the two players I know who can replace Laca perfectly and still give us something more. They will link up play, give you assists and still score.

To be honest, I don't have any in mind yet oo. No better young striker (or forward) have caught my fancy recently.

Hope your choice isn't Abraham abeg? grin
Which Abraham? Abraham is good but he is only about goals.

Mehn I'm not impressed with Isak again. But you see Umar, I've never being impressed with him right from his u-17 abi u-20 days and even to his Olympic days. I'm not impressed with this his recent afcon game and the few games I've come across in his league (on few occasions tho).

He's not strong, easily falls, not a good goal scorer, can't pass and personally he isn't a smart player for me. Did I also add he has a poor first touch and that he's slow??

If there's another Sadiq Umar please bring him but not this one I know abeg!!

Maybe I'm viewing him wrongly but if another person have same thought as yours regarding him let the person talk abeg, cos me e go prefer I use balogun upfront than to buy him presently

His new role as a lone midfielder really suits him. It seems he loves dominating the midfield in his own way and not with any other. This has freed another position for Arteta to explore tactically.

But he needs to learn how to shoot accurately. If he does that, he will easily be the best CM in the league.

You guys could look at Darwin Nunez at Benfica.

You have good eyes, I have been checking the guy too
With lfc latest buy in Portugal, Porto and Benfica have good record in getting south America talents
We should be looking at those 2 clubs especially when buying players

I haven't watched him but this season is like a good season for him so you can watch him next season, so it won't be like a flash in the pan.

And he's young there's a reason I still want DCL or Watkins then we sell nketiah
If at early 20s and you can't show flashes of brilliance as a CF sorry is the case

Yeah, partey in that role is really a gem. Seriously, I wouldn't trade him for any DM in the league, not even man city or Liverpool's own.

And Yeah, but I feel he's working on it in training, his shots against Watford is a bit better compared to his other matches

No one is talking about Cedric Soares' performance yesterday!

Cedric Vs Watford;
2 Clearances
1 Block
5 Interceptions
4 Tackles
And heavily involved for 2 of the goals!!

Credit where credit is due....the Portugeezer is in some form at present

I mentioned this too, he may not be like tomi but he's holding his own since he replaced tomi
Is Cedric Portuguese or Spanish??

FA should deduct Chelsea's points. How can they be using Russian money to win CL? angry grin grin grin

Thank God Usmanov left us that year. Some of us here were saying that he should have bought Arsenal but that David Dein prevented it.

That David Dein's decision has saved Arsenal today.

At least Chelsea has 2 champions league because of Abramovic's money pumped in to buy players....maybe If Usmanov's money would've gotten us a couple of EPL and and least one champions league too.

Dead on arrival.

It is in UEFA’s contract with Ifa that Arsenal can’t win Champion’s League.

It depends.

I am not talking about the money but the ownership. It seems to be better under British or American owners than others because anything can happen.
