He is a tactical footballer and why people dont give him that respect. Benzema can play for 90 minutes and you wont see him really come to the stage. When he comes, its a goal or goal attempt.

Champions league is a culture, only few teams know the culture such as Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barca, AC Milan, Liverpool, Man UTD, Ajax Chelsea, Inter Milan, Juventus and OM etc know the culture so well. Outsiders like Man City, Athletico, PSG, Arsenal need to learn the culture.

No spirit entered him. Ronaldo's star simply outshined him, he was their focal point and all the players were feeding him with the ball to bang in the goals. Even Benzema would rather pass to him then to do the finishing.
