Are you done with your nonsense? Russia may not have colonized Africa but they colonized other regions so same thing. How long can you be used as fuel for a dictator using historic colonization as excuse to defend and support a dictator like Putin. Well-done. BKayy: |

Mumusaphire:lol what does USA have that's giving them the authority to sanction anybody? Germany for example get 50% of their energy from Russia. If Russia turn off the pipeline Germans will start freezing to death in their own homes. That's the case with other countries in Europe. Russia supply one third of the wheat consumed globally, they're about to stop its export, you know what that means? Wheat price will go up at the very minimum, 4x its current price and you won't even still get it to buy. Most people are currently diabetic which means they rely on wheat for survival. Russia is fully self sufficient. Even Iran which is not as blessed with natural resources as Russia have been very fine on their own with all the US sanctions. USA went to beg Maduro, the same man they have been trying to kill or at least chase out of power, they're now begging him for oil. Biden called the leaders of UAE and Saudi Arabia, they didn't even pick. The world is about to wake up to the fact that USA and their fellows in the West are the most overrated people in the world. They are virtually useless. They don't offer anything apart from entertainment and social media. In time of crisis you will quickly realise how useless those things are. I wish our foolish leaders in Africa will open their eyes capitalize on this crisis and start calling the shots just like India, Pakistan, China UAE and Saudi Arabia are already doing but we all know the fools we have here are anywhere belle face. Anything UK and USA say is what they will do. Tuueeeh |

ttmacoy:A dictator that doesn't want an enemy building a base in her backyard. Putin is a hero to his people. He is uprooting what might pose a threat to his country's next generation. As for the colonialism part. Yes Russia colonised some Europeans but that is someone fighting his mate not the West exploiting Africa forever after fighting their ill equipped ancestors with gatling guns and cannons. If the west want accolades, they should fight their mates and stop using Africa as a life support. Now answer my own questions. |

Inaccurate inflation rate. It will hit 15% unless they look for way to stop this WAR. Anyway we should talk about inflation rate in Nigeria not that of US. |

olorunthobby:e go reach everybody. All of us go see fire. Russia said they were going to ban all exports to certain countries in the next few days. They supply one third of the wheat that we consume globally, my mother has sugar so she only eats wheat, even the bread she eats is wheat bread. If they stop one third of global export the price will go up at 5x and you might not even get it to buy sef. Na serious wahala dey come so |

BKayy:Lol... Bros, I don't need any political scientist to explain these things to me. I am also politically savvy. No matter how much you try to sugar coat things, I still won't agree with that specific part of your initial post which I quoted. The truth is this, Picture doesn't really show the reality on ground... You see that tallest building in the picture you attached there is a ghost of itself and in fact a disaster waiting to happen! It's just for decoration during celebrations and holidays, the only thing that building can boast of is a telecom mast for network coverage. Even that one sef, the contract go soon expire. The closest thing you can use to convince me with respect to the subject is Economic data. As at today, Venezuela that is in an economic turmoil is still better in terms of economic metrics compared to North Korea. Let's not deceive ourselves. North Korea is still alive because it is a sovereign nation that can't be killed and the government is thriving so hard to prove the doubters wrong. North Korea is not more developed than 80% of capitalists countries. If you have the data, prove me wrong, I am an avid learner.

Voldoz:I don't hate USA per se I personally think they're overrated and think too highly of themselves. Who gave them the power to be dishing out sanctions to everybody? Only them sanction Iran, Venezuela, China North Korea etc now that they are seeing fire they're now begging the same Iran and Venezuela they sanctioned before. What do they have that's giving them the morale to sanction people? What do they offer the world apart from entertainment and social media? You will soon realise how useless those technologies are when serious famine starts wreaking havoc globally |

anonymous1759:it's because of comments like this that I still come to Nairaland. The world can't be unipolar - America should stop the bullying and seeing those who are not with them as enemies or seeing friends of Russia as their enemies. FIFA would eventually break - they fined Abou Trika for writing 'Stop the war in Gaza', but didn't say anything about the player who wrote "stop the war in Ukraine ". They said football should not be brought into politics and I don't know how they got on this war issue and politics. Americans who killed, raped and destroyed cities etc, can't be tried in the Hague, but African leaders are tried. Like I've always said, Putin knows the consequences of his actions before he invaded and has worked out survival plans with the sole aim of breaking the myth of power of sanctions. America is about to lose its powerful tool - sanctions. I hate that people are dying in Ukraine(they followed the US and its allies to invade Iraq), but I stand with Putin - we all can't lick the western ass. |

Walkee:tell them. What has America done for us apart from wars and more wars and cheap lies to invade nations? Sanction is their most powerful tool and they are about to lose its potency. They sanction countries not minding what ordinary citizens of those nations will be going through. I pray fossil fuel stand relevant forever so we can have what to hold the world with. |

He is a hero to his people? Really? Hero ko hero ni. He is dictator simple. No one should be in power for over 20 years, NO ONE so pleas drop the hero bullshit. Africa should stop being life support and step-up, continue to use colonization for an excuse is the reason why we will continue to be the footmat of the world. Look at China in how any years and we are still there playing the blame game. Again all you have said does not justify anything Putin is doing today so stop trying to link it back to colonization. An your comment about Gaitling guns etc. shows why we were colonized, we were weaker simple. Those western countries were colonized by Russia, fought back and got stronger, Africa still blaming in 2022. BKayy: |

CAPITALBEE:give them space to operate and you'd see what they'd become. Let them live. What they have endured, no western nations can survive that in a month. Give them space. USA should stop sanctioning people and allow people to determine their own destiny. |
