We need to know that section of the Nigeria Constitution or Electoral Act or judicial precedent that says a governor should be removed if he changed party.

The judge should show us.

I just want to correct the impression that big men are above the law. Nobody is actually above the law. What people do is to use their money to influence justices' verdicts in Nigeria.

Nobody is above the law...you only think that people are above the law when people who are supposed to implement it haven't decided to do so. As for the Supreme Court, that's a no-go area.

A court can allow anyone to stay out of prison while they appeal their case. It's up to the judge.
This is a political judgment that can be appealed, this judge does not have a final say on the matter.
Many political judgments have been given in the 0ast that were overturned this will have the same fate eventually because it lacks precedence, logic, law and common sense.
