Very unlikely even with foreign support. Unless Ukraine controls the sky or NATO enforce no fly zone, Russia will eventually bomb unkriane into ruins...esp if they become frustrated and desperate with poor progress of the war.

But Russia can't definitely occupy Ukraine. They lack the logistic and finances to enforce their authority...it will only lead to another meaningless long drawn out guerilla campaign against Ukrainian insurgent groups.

And this brings up the main question...what is Putin's end game in all of this?
Install a puppet president in kiev? Does he really think the guy will last a month? Or the puppet is going to be ruling ukraine from Moscow or Belarus?
Are Russians ready for this? Already prominent personalities are grumbling on Russian tv?

There’s a lot going on about this war that we don’t know, but we’re so quick to pick sides. We should remain neutral no matter what cos Ukraine has every right to defend itself and Russian have every right to defend its borders and territory even if it means going to war. US and UK would have done the same too if they feel threaten by their perceived enemy on any of their neighboring countries.

Does Palestine have a standing army? Israel has one of the strongest army in the Middle East, but that's not to be compared with Russia or USA or any of the European super power. They can take on any Middle Eastern Army with the help of to US of course. Russia is fighting almost the whole world in Ukraine. In addition to the resiliance of the ukrainian army...there are many ex marines,special forces,navy seal that serve in afghanistan iraq,syria etc,and ex service guys all over the world that have converged in ukrain to fight putin....he will nor suevive this....
