I feel like the SW political leadership in general are really maximizing their opportunities under this current administration, by attracting solid infrastructure to the region and initiating favourable policies that benefit the region, unlike was the case during past administrations. From the SW lawmakers to the ministers and governors from the region, they've been relatively more assertive in terms of delivery of developmenal dividends than their previous colleagues under past administrations.

The rulers are not smart at all, there are some projects that should not be allowed instead should be diverted to other states. Lagos has become a cash cow for some without putting into consideration of the quality of life herein. This your logic is funny, will the railway not make for easier access and mobility through Lagos? Will mobility not improve the lives of people living in the Lekki axis? We Yorubas are very dissapointed and upset with our leaders. Their lack of vision is too open and annoying to ignore.

We are worse off electing our own than voting in candidates of other ethnicity. We are only voting them in because we fear the consequence of rulership under others but we are no better off under our own people. No jobs, other ethnics monopolize trade and high paying jobs in our land. No security, foreigners kill us at will and boldly without any fear of penalty, in fact they dare our leaders to condemn their action... No food security, morality is low, poor healthcare, education is poor.

The energy and drive to separate is still very strong and will not be abandoned. New strategies are emerging.

It is a process, sometimes a lengthy one. The new awakening has records and all occurred within just an election cycle. Yorubas today are not where they were in 2019, even though the pattern has history. So habits is still a major factor in the actions.

Give them 2 or 3 election cycles, nobody will preach "dont vote", it will be a voluntary action to boycott.
