U.S. President Joe Biden has signed an order banning the sale or delivery by any other means of dollar bills to Russia, the White House said in a statement.

In particular, the order prohibits "the exportation, reexportation, sale, or supply, directly or indirectly, from the United States, or by a United States person, wherever located, of U.S. dollar-denominated banknotes to the Government of the Russian Federation or any person located in the Russian Federation."

Hello dumb-dumb. Have you ever heard of bitcoin(digital currency), gold assets, euro, yuan, etc. Most of you western asslickers dont think sha. And is not just this month that USA started imposing heavy sanctions on Russia. Ever since dems came on board, it is one sanction or another because Russia interfered in their election according to them.

Is this not an overreach? I think Biden here is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. There are no permanent friends or permanent enemies in international relations. Just permanent interests.

These sanctions will only be worthwhile if they topple Vladimir Putin. Dictators such as Saddam Hussein or the Ayatollahs have hung on to power despite crushing sanctions and the common people feel the full weight instead.

Alienating the Russian economy will hit America hard. Already, the high price of petrol is already causing disquiet amongst Americans. The high price isn't due to high demand but rather scarcity, occasioned by the omission of Russian crude oil products from part of the global market.

I think Zelensky may soon call for peace unless he's stupid enough to see his country burn. Russian victory, will be prrhicc (can't spell the word). There'll be guerilla attacks which will make whatever victory, horrid, like what the Americans faced in Iraq
