Salemgists sighted a video of a Nigerian Army Special Forces personnel weeping and begging for forgiveness after he was caught collecting bribe.

The yet-to-be named officer was caught while soliciting bribe from motorists. He was spotted in the video begging for forgiveness as his superior ordered him to surrender the bribe collected.

The officer who stated that he has been in the Army for 31 years begged to the extent that he went on his knees.

He's not even remorseful. He's only begging to keep his bribe.
They should send him to Sambisa forest to go and collect bribe from Boko Haram.

Why catching one single army man while all the others are openly collecting same bribes every hour on every Nigerian roads, and even giving change to motorists? All army checkpoints are nothing but toll gates and the main objective is to clect bribes.

I wish all superiors are like this... It seems it is in their nature to collect bribe.

Take bribe money from security agents, many of them will voluntarily resign

If you know the amount soldiers are collecting monthly, you won't blame them for collecting bribe.

He would av just send him a summon.

Send him to sambisa to face war.

It's a punishable offence. But jst calculate how much a non commission rank solder take as a salary.....

And foods stuff are extremely cost. Without collecting bribe non of them will survive....

You can see the impoverishment... All his life serving in the army but nothing to prove that the army's remuneration is worth working for. The oga that caught him is as guilty as him. He collects bribe on the road while the oga collects his own bribe in the office. Any dog wey dey eat another dog na dangerous dog.

Forgive him Mr superior not that you self don't collect bride....increase their salaries give them better standard of living anyone after then should face the music if they misbehave.

Look, it is very easy to stop all these bribe-taking by uniformed men if only their superiors really want to.
Unfortunately they don't because the same superiors are the major partakers of the bribe returns.
