There are so many malls now in Awka. It is now looking like a competition.

Mini malls and supermarkets. Soludo administration should finish Ikenga Mall abandoned by Obiano administration which is only standard mall in awka area.

PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS CAN FINISH WHERE OBIANO LEFT.

Honestly, that site called EkeAwka is a nuisance location. I wonder how it will look like now this rainy season...filth everywhere and rowdy plus uncouth traders and hawkers selling on motorable roads.

I trust Soludo to do a Dubai-stic wonder in that axis cheesy

What SOLUDO need to do in around Onitsha Shopping Mall & the abandoned Five star Hotel!
(1) He should recover the huge land at the back of the hotel/Shopping Mall illegally given out to people.
(2) Use the recovered land to build another ICC hub in Onitsha similar to the Awka ICC.
(3) Complete the abandoned 5 Star Hotel.
(4) Dualize immediately AWKA ROAD ONITSHA.
(5) Turn that area INTO ONITSHA NOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT HUB.
This alone will inject over 5000 jobs directly and indirectly into Onitsha. This will also help to change the image of Onitsha for good.

Onitsha ICC with a 5000 sitted banquet Hall and about 20 smaller banquet halls will be more viable than the Awka Icc. Onitsha Icc HUB will have
(1) Two 5 star Hotels almost ready 1 govt owned & 1 private owned.
(2) With The Onitsha Shopping Mall already functioning.
There are many functions and events in Onitsha but It lack a World class facilities for such events.
This I believe will help to the regeneration of the great city of Onitsha.

Onitsha ICC for what exactly? Oga there are lots of issues in Anambra that Soludo has to focus on. Roads are in a very bad state, insecurity. There’s nothing like an Onitsha ICC. Awka ICC is enough

Look at how unkempt and degenerated the Onitsha mini stadium looks and yet there is a state ministry of sports.

This is the danger of building without maintenance or plan.

About building hotels for ICC, the government should first get ICC to function at a high level before investing in another hotel and ensure it doesn't destroy business for Agulu Lake Hotel.

The same goes for proposals for Onitsha ICC. Let the one in Awka be an outstanding success over 6 years before investing in another.

The hotel in Onitsha which was abandoned should be concessioned off to private investors. If there is a business case it will be built otherwise its a white elephant.

We have an emergency situation in Anambra currently. Roads are in a terrible state, reason why everything is on a hike. Transport fare is increasing everyday, no thanks to the bad roads

One of the most important things we need in anambra now are roads.
Roads, roads and roads.
A lot of roads are in disrepair.
We need to have a reliable, durable and beautiful road infrastructure in this state.
Roads along major cities - Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi should be built to very high standards. Other access roads should be built too.
We don't have many excellent/gigantic/beautiful road structures in Anambra. We really need these.
Many roads need to be dualised.
Awka needs another flyover, same with Onitsha.
Nnewi is the worst. That town hasn't risen beyond what it should have become.
Many road rehabilitation projects are needed.
Nnewi needs at least two flyovers.

These road projects are very much needed at the moment.

Roads, roads, roads and roads.
Beautiful, high standard, durable roads.
In addition to making lives easy for us, it'll attract massive investments.

In addition to roads, street lights are also important.
And they should be maintained.
Why are the street lights from Dabara Hotel, Nnewi, down to traffic light not working? I passed that road last week at night and every where was pitch black, inspite of the (non functioning) Street lights.

Maybe when we are done with these we can now start talking about light/cargo intrastate railways.

The commissioner of works in Obiano’s administration remains the most laziest and non performing commissioner. Even the road that lids to his ministry remains an eyesore

I SERIOUSLY BELIEVE THAT ANAMBRA WOULD DEVELOP ON THE MODEL THAT INCOMING GOVERNORS DO NOT BUG THEMSELVES DOWN BY COMPLETEING PROJECT THEIR PREDECESSOR DID NOT START.

THIS BELIEF IS REINFORCED, ESPECIALLY IF THEIR PREDECESSOR HAVE SPENT 8 YEARS IN GOVERNMENT, WHICH IS TWO TERMS IN OFFICE.

IF THEY ONLY HAD ONE TERM IN OFFICE OF 4 YEARS, THEN THE SUCCESSOR CAN COMPLETE OR START PROJECT, THEY LEFT BEHIND.

ANY PROJECT LEFT BEHIND BY SOMEBODY THAT HAVE SPENT 8 YEARS IN OFFICE AND HE DID NOT START OR DEVELOP TO A REASONABLE STAGE SHOULD BE ZONED TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR, ESPECIALLY.

THIS WILL SUSTAIN THE MOMENTUM FOR CHANGE AND DEVELOPMENT.

U CANNOT EXPECT SOLUDO TO BUILD THIS AT THE ICC SITE.

RATHER, THEY SHOULD SOURCE THE PROJECT TO MULTINATIONAL HOTELS OR OTHER INVESTORS, EVEN AKWA IBOM STATE GOV WITH EXCESS CASH, OR DR MADUKA OR ANY OTHER MONEY BAG IN ANAMBRA, THAT CAN MEET THEIR DESIGN SPECIFICATION FOR A SMART WORLD CLASS TOWER BLOCK/SKYSCRAPPER.
