Sanctions are coming
What yeye sanctions? As far as we're not selling arms and ammunitions to Belarus, I don't think there would be any issues.

Armoured vehicles don't kill people, it's for security. They can only go after people who supply weapons, i.e. arms and ammunition.

Are u for real? Innoson specializes in SUVs and buses and not jack of all trades. Proforce specializes in making armored vehicles, different areas of specialization.

99.9879% of vehicles in Nigeria are imported. Why making noise cos you want to export few vehicles?

Proforce should be careful.
Belarus is currently under various sanctions, they may not be able to pay for the vehicles.
You think a Nigerian company would do such a transaction on promise? grin

Even the steel and other materials used in making these vehicles are also imported.

We don't have any functional steel manufacturing company in Nigeria

I don't know what they're celebrating

Be very careful and do your due diligence on any sanctions.

I know you people act like you are in a banana republic. If you export it outside, body go tell una.

Even China will not directly act openly against any sanctions on Russia, Belarus etc.
What "sanction" does Belarus have that prevents them from purchasing defense equipment from Nigeria? This doesn't in any way hamper relations with the west cos we aren't selling them arms and ammunitions.

As far as we're concerned, it could be for regular policing in Belarus, just like our police force here has armoured tanks too.

Na UN sanctions?

Abi Nigeria is part of NATO?

The worst that can happen is the US and UK Ambassadors going or writing to Buhari, and, if the old man were to have been a wise man, he would use that as an opportunity to wrangle some concessions for Nigeria to cushion the "loss of revenue''.

Nigeria is not neutral.
Nigeria condemned Russian invasion and vote against it in the UN.

I still do not understand why they want to order the defence vehicles from Nigeria.
Russia has much better ones and are stone throw away.
Also, this may invite sanction to Nigeria.

Re: Belarus To Buy Proforce Armored Vehicles From Nigeria by lagosrd: 6:19am On Mar 14, 2022
Proforce should collect their money first and talk about the supply.

The issue is how many has Nigeria bought from them. This is greatest opportunity to fully equip our millitary with APCs, and all millitary hardwares instead of wasting money on foreign companies .
